The house is fully equipped for your comfort.
You'll have plenty of room to relax and breathe at The Lumber Inn. The house is decorated with eclectic art by the owners, local artists, and the previous owner (a painter and graphic artist born in 1900) as well as quirky found art.
On the first floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room and bathroom with a tub and shower. The stone patio is right outside the back door.
The second floor has 5 bedrooms. Three bedrooms have queen beds, one has a full size bed and one bedroom has a trundle bed with two twin beds.
The house can sleep up to 10 people.
View the Delaware River from the master bedroom sitting area. The master bath has a claw foot soaking tub and has access from the master bedroom and the hall. There is another bathroom with a shower on the second floor. We provide linens, blankets and towels as well as soap/shampoo.
The front porch is huge and a great place to have meals.
In the back, there is a stone patio surrounded by a stone wall. There is a charcoal grill and picnic table.
There is WiFi, but currently no TV. AT&T cell service works, but other providers may not. There is a landline in the house for local calls as well as incoming calls.
There is an ever expanding selection of books and board games for some old school entertainment.
You could relax and never leave the house and porch or explore Narrowsburg and the sights and destinations within a 25 minute drive in any direction.
Narrowsburg's Main Street has three excellent restaurants, a cafe, galleries, home goods shops, vintage and antiques, a wine shop, and several specialty shops. The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance has two art galleries, a gift shop, music and theater performances. Nearby there is a supermarket, pizzeria, Chinese restaurants, bait shop, laundromat and gas station.
Within a 25 minute drive are the towns of Callicoon, Baryville and Honesdale, PA and Hawley, PA, all with their own charms and attractions. Bethel Woods in Bethel, NY is an outdoor concert venue and the site of the original Woodstock festival with a Museum of the 60's.
