About Vincent Connolly
Hello! Thanks for visiting the Killington Mountain House website. I've owned and managed this property since 2004 and it's brought great excitement for me and my family. I'm passionate about snowboarding, mountain biking and simply being outdoors- Vermont proved to be a very special getaway. Over the years I've called Killington and Burlington Vermont home and eventually made my way out west to Steamboat Springs and now Evergreen Colorado. I manage this house with the help of a great team that includes my neighbor Gerald/Caretaker, Rose/Cleaning Lady and Andy/Handyman. I'm constantly upgrading the property to ensure that there is a great vacation experience for the families, groups and businesses that rent the property. I've worked in the outdoor industry for the past 25 years for Ride Snowboards, Smith Optics and Burton Snowboards. My passion for snowboarding took me back to Vermont and now I'm back in Colorado as the Global Category Director at Boa Technology in Denver. My wife Moriah is from Morrisville Vermont and we have two children. Life is great and we get back to Vermont often to see family, friends and the Killington Mountain House. I'm available 24/7 so please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions about the house or the Killington area. Cheers, Vincent Connolly

Overall had a great experience
First with the good: the House was very warm and inviting, the owner was incredibly response and helpful and provided assistance wherever needed. We loved the house, the kitchen, the fireplace, hot tub, game room. Overall a fantastic experience.
The house certainly can hold a lot of people- however, it’s a true four bedroom house- not six so the description was a little misleading. We were there with three families so it was perfect. However, had we had another adult couple, they would have been out of luck. One bedroom had a queen bed in the petite bedroom, aka large closet with no true door. Ok when it’s a child sleeping in there, but not much more. The loft space cannot be considered a bedroom- it requires a ladder to get up there and a blow up mattress. For that reason, we reduced it by a star.
That aside, it was a fantastic experience and we look forward to staying there again.
Fantastic views and space. Great times!
Excellent. Great space lots to do. Beautiful views. Great location not far from the mountain but private and secluded.
Great & highly affordable for Big Groups
Overall experience of the house is great & owner is very quick to response to any inquiries .... just a couple things ...due to the house having many beds ...some beds & towels still can be be a bit dusty (probably didn't clean it thoroughly enough because i'm sure previous parties didn't use them all since there were so many) ... before we leave i saw one cleaning crew...if that was the case, the house might be too big for one person to clean...but that's just my opinion.... also first floor can be a bit too cold even though we turned on the heater to the highest during our stays so we spent most of our time on the second floor.... last, some of the kitchen equipments look a bit dirty so we ended up having to clean them again before use..... other than these issue, i think the house is above average than many places that i've been to so far.... but just a suggestion to add more staffs to the cleaning clue so it gets the jobs done faster and cleaner
I really appreciate your feedback Wade and the time you invested in the review! The team and I strive to hit a 5 Star Review for every group and I’m sorry that we fell a little short this time around. This detail will help ensure that we’re at the top of our game!
The cleaning crew is made up of 2-3 people at any given time. Rose is the main contact and is always first to arrive at the house to do the initial inspection. She will then contact the rest of the team to bring additional supplies (toilet paper, garbage bags and etc) if needed.
The day you checked-in the team was cleaning the house after a successful 21-person Super Bowl weekend (thanks for your review Ryan!). All beds and towels were used and needed to be cleaned before your arrival. I apologies that some beds/towels didn’t meet your satisfaction. I have extra linen’s and towels available in the linen close off the 1st floor bedroom. Always feel free to call and I can easily give the code. Alternatively, the team makes themselves available to go back to the house when requested.
"Thermostat" in the Welcome Binder (electronic copy is emailed before your stay and there’s a hardcopy in the kitchen) there are details on operating the thermostats. Press the “+” key if you want more heat and the “-” key if you want less heat. The thermostat is on a schedule with 3 different settings each day that allows you to provide the most comfortable option for morning / day / sleep.
The team’s contact information is also provided if a group feels something isn’t working properly, we’re just a phone call away.
Thank you again for the business and for your great communication Wade!
All the best
Group Ski Weekend Success
We chose Vincent's home because it was exactly that a home! It was clean, cozy & warm . We were a group of 21 and it never felt like it was cramped. While most of us skied some chose to stay & enjoy the home's amenities -Wood burning fireplace, a great game room and an easy access hot tub off the main living room deck. Here you relaxed with one of Killington's breathtaking views of tall birch trees and snow arising from the backdrop. It truly made a good recovery. The house is nicely appointed, just remember to bring your own spices for cooking, paper towels and especially coffee. Having the 2nd floor living room was huge, here most of us watched the Super Bowl and the rest were downstairs either playing games on the large dining table or having beers in the main living room. If there was one thing I would change it would be to add a dishwasher, but we just took turns doing it so it was fine. We will definitely come back, Vincent was very easy to communicate with and you will enjoy your stay!
Beautiful house, perfect for large groups!
This is a beautiful house, perfect for large groups and ski retreats. The home/amenities description is accurate and the rooms are well-maintained. The owner is very friendly and responsive, and within the last couple years, a nice outdoor fire pit, an additional shower, and an upgraded game room have been added.
We have stayed at this house every winter for the past few years and have had an excellent experience every time. The home comfortably sleeps 20 (if you want separate beds for each person), or up to 32 otherwise. The house is nestled in the hillside, with a private view, and just minutes from the Killington Ski Resort.
Amazing property with tons of space for big group and activities.
This is easily the best house I have stayed at in years of traveling to Vermont. Plenty of space for a huge group (we had 20 adults). In addition, there are great features like a game room, fireplace, hot tub, and more. Communication was great with the owner, and he couldn't have been more accommodating. I'd highly recommend to any group looking for some privacy but with quick access to the mountain.
Other Activities: Boating, Snowboarding, Wildlife Viewing, Snowmobiling
