Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, and providing you with essential mountain amenities like a fireplace, furnished deck with peeks at the lake, and a space in the garage for your vehicle, this Tahoe City vacation home is a perfect place for your getaway any time of year.
The Snow Flower is near many Sierra hiking trails and ski resorts so that all guests can experience Tahoe the way it's meant to be. Choose from spots no more than nine miles away like Granlibakken Resort, Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area, and Alpine Meadows/Squaw Valley. Waterfront eateries and coffee shops are only about a mile away in town.
Surrounded by pines on the outside, this house reflects the terrain inside with rustic woodwork and huge picture windows. Look out toward the lake from your perch on the front deck with a patio table set.
Head inside to the open great room with overstuffed couches before a TV with DVD and cable and a remote-controlled gas fireplace stove. Play foosball or snack on popcorn while a movie plays. On the other side of this level is access to the back deck for more outdoor options. A full bathroom is on this floor as well.
Cleanup after meals will be easy with the dishwasher in the fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy eating together at the breakfast bar, patio, or window-side dining table.
Go downstairs to find the carpeted bedrooms, including the master bedroom with a queen-size bed and door to the lower patio. Share the twin trundle bed with your best friend in the guest room or the twin-over-full bunk and single twin in the third room, which also has a second TV. (A sofa sleeper is also available to bring the maximum occupancy up to eight.) This floor also has a full bathroom and a laundry room.
Beyond the waterfront Tahoe City restaurants, you'll find tons to do along the beach. Visit Commons Beach in summer for live music, Kings Beach for family fun, or even the casinos in Crystal Bay, just over the state line. About 16 miles north is Truckee off I-80, a gateway to west Tahoe destinations.
The cozy Snow Flower is a Tahoe City vacation rental for families to bond in, friends to reminisce in, and for everyone to make memories in during their precious time off.
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We enjoyed our visit. The upstairs great room gave plenty of space for family activities. Updated bathrooms were comfortable. Quiet location with easy access to Tahoe City.
This place was perfect for a large group! A lot of room and in a great area that is a short drive to grocery stores or the beach. We enjoyed it!
Three big decks, clean, close to the lake but quiet, would definitely stary here again.
The property was really nice and clean, lots of space and well stocked, in a pretty good location. Only complaint was that the fees are a little high.
The property was very clean and stocked with any supplies we needed. Nice, quiet area, just a short drive to town. Lots of room, great for a family. Cleaning fee was a little steep, only complaint.
Great location - close to everything. Lot's of windows and easy parking. However, many aspects of the home could use updating. We cooked all our meals at the house and most of the kitchenware is really cheap and the knives were extremely dull. If you're going to be eating out, there will be no issue. The carpets throughout the downstairs were dirty and stained. Management was difficult to get a hold of.
