Close to the beach
If you want to be close to the beach but not pay beachfront prices, this property fits the bill. The duplex is located halfway between Beach Access #5 and Beach Access #6. Walk one block either way and you are at the beach. We were there Easter week, one of the most busy weeks, and the beach across the street was not crowded.
This rental is in a residential area on a very busy street. High-end multi-million dollar oceanfront homes across the street, and a very safe neighborhood. Publix for groceries, and lots of restaurants are only a mile or two drive.
If you drive north a couple miles to Lovers Key State Park, you can rent kayaks to putter around in the bay, or bikes to ride through the park trails. Just before Lovers Key, there is Bonita Boat Rentals, where you can rent pontoons to take out exploring, or beach on one of the many islands in the area. We loved this so much we did it twice!
Doug's Seafood is a great casual place with a variety of lobster and seafood options. Hidden in a strip mall near Publix, use GPS to get there. Melissa's ice cream was very good, but we thought Tipsy Cow was better.
C Level is an interesting restaurant for higher end food, be sure to make a reservation. The interior is .... well.... different with all blue lighting and the appearance that you're inside a submarine looking through portholes at fish. Petar's Restaurant was great food with European flair, the hostess Anna was very welcoming.
There is a farmer's market on Saturdays at the Promenade. Lots of good seafood and bakery vendors in addition to the fresh fruits and vegetables. Try the hogfish if you go, it's divine....
Duplex was well-stocked and comfortable. It was a bonus to be looking at the bay out back, and there is a deck to walk out on. The grill area had nice seating below.
Overall, a very nice stay. Good for families or couples. There is a flight and a half of stairs (25 steps) to reach the front door which gives great views, but would not work for everyone. Most houses in the area are built like this with raised main floors. There can be some noise through the shared wall if both sides are rented during your stay. But the busy street outside is not a problem since you're typically going to have windows closed and A/C on.
Arlan, the manager, is very responsive. Great communications overall. We would rent this property again if we return to Bonita Springs.
Cosy and very well located
We had a lovely time during our stay. The property is exactly as you see on pictures, cosy and very well located.
The view of the lake in mornings is really refreshing, the dock behind the house was perfect to sit down with chairs and shares a glass of wine also fishing. We left Naples renovated.
Artlan was the best host, very friendly and easy to reach at any time, sent us lot s of good tips.
I spent 2 weeks here and loved my stay. The condo is nicely furnished and clean. The beach access is less than a block away, so it is an easy walk. There are many restaurants, bars and shopping within an easy drive. I highly recommend!
Clean newer construction duplex just steps from the beach. A great value for the money.
Absolutely one of the nicest places that we've stayed on vacation. Extremely well maintained, up to date, quality furnishings and above
all immaculate. Very short walk to the beach and surrounded by lovely homes. Entire rental experience was fabulous and trouble free. Highly recommended.
