About Eileen Fahrner

Our family has lived in the Pinedrop neighborhood in Tahoe Vista since 1992 and have been home owners in the Kings Beach area since 1955. We have many wonderful memories of raising our children in this great place and continue to enjoy the beauty of Lake Tahoe.

Eileen Fahrner purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Eileen Fahrner chose Tahoe Vista

The cabin sits on a large, wooded lot in the heart of a wonderful neighborhood, next door to our home.

What makes this cabin unique

The cabin is surrounded by majestic cedar, fir, and pine trees. In the summer, the garden is full of ferns. The location is ideal for biking, hiking, cross county skiing, and snow shoeing. Downtown Kings Beach is a short walk or drive away where one finds a variety of restaurants, shops, and the State Recreation Area. One and a half miles away is North Tahoe Regional Park that houses a ropes course, soccer and baseball fields, tennis courts, and a variety of hikes. Truckee and Tahoe City are approximately 15 minutes away by car or bus.

A cabin hidden in the woods

  • 5 of 5

We loved our cabin adventure! The house was furnished completely for both lounging and cooking. It felt like we were deep in the woods but we were actually 5 minutes from restaurants and a grocery store. Come see the stellar jays, chipmunks, squirrels and woodpeckers!

Great Cabin w/ perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 4 nights at Eileen’s cabin in Tahoe Vista. It was so well accommodated with everything we needed. The cabin is very clean and has a fully stocked kitchen. The location is perfect. We were within walking distance to Tahoe Treetop Adventures and a short drive to Truckee, Tahoe City and accessible hiking trails. Eileen was a great host and communicated every detail to us. We would definitely stay here again!

A peaceful cabin. Good for the soul.

  • 5 of 5

This was my second stay at at this cabin, it just keeps calling me back.

Eileen has done a fantastic job of making you feel comfortable the moment you walk in the door. I have never rented a home that had a kitchen as well stocked as this one. Any questions I asked were answered quickly.

Don’t let the square footage fool you, it’s laid out to feel twice the size. A perfect, sweet little cabin. I’ll be back in the fall.

Thank you, Eileen, for sharing you cabin with us.

Enchanted Forest

  • 5 of 5

We adored our visit to this charming, super clean, and comfy cabin in the woods. Tucked away from the traffic and crowds, but only a mile from gorgeous Lake Tahoe, great coffee (Java Hut) and healthy groceries, it was perfection for two. We MTbiked right out the door-- there is a huge and lovely trail network for hiking and biking. The cabin looks brand new and has everything you need (deck, grill, nice kitchen for cooking real meals, super comfortable bed) and nothing more. It is so relaxing and simple to vacation here.

Beautifully designed, cozy and convenient!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this cabin! It's a cute and cozy place nestled in a sea of huge cabins, with hiking/x country skiing trails just up the block and easy access to King's beach. It is beautifully designed and appointed, and was very comfortable. We loved it - highly recommended.
