We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. It was quiet and peaceful, and in a beautiful setting. It was also fully stocked, we didn’t really need to bring anything but clothes and groceries. Deer grazed out behind the deck, and dueling hummingbirds entertained us every evening. We will definitely be back.
Thanks Susan we hope to host you again!
Wonderful cozy home with amazing views.
We stayed in July 2018. The cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Our favorite part was sitting out on the deck in the morning and evenings and enjoying the peacefulness and beauty of the mountain views. The location of the property is great. Very close to Winter Park and a short drive the opposite way to Grand Lake / RMNP. We absolutely loved our stay which made us sad to leave. We highly recommend this property and plan on returning in the future.
Perfect little cabin nestled in aspens and pines!
The cabin was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities needed for a perfect stay. Even though there were closely located neighbors, it felt secluded in its setting, which is exactly what we wanted. It only took approximately 10 minutes to reach a grocery store! This was an excellent choice in our price range, I was pleasantly surprised! I would recommend this cabin for any family of four!
Perfect for our family/needs!
We are a family of 5, kids aged 6-9, and it was great. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, washer/dryer, nice deck to relax on and watch the sunset. Everything was clean and in working order. We had just enough Sprint cellular coverage to make calls and text; Apple/Google Nav take you to the front door. Quiet street/neighborhood with no traffic and no highway noise. Easy access to Granby/Winter Park. We were in the area primarily for Adam's Camp at Snow Mountain Ranch and it was very convenient. Riding distance to the Granby Ski Area MTB trails. There are recycling dumpsters along with the trash dumpsters at the bottom of the road. We hope to make this an annual trip.
Secluded and nice view
We were looking for a secluded cabin with a nice view, and that was exactly what we got. My kids enjoyed the little things such as toys, Disney movies, board games, and bath toys. We loved the patio in the back and grill. The location was perfect in Tabernash between Winter Park and Granby. We had a blast with the 4th of July parade in Granby. We spent two days in the Rockies National Park which was also close by. We won’t soon forget this place.
Great cabin for the price
My Girlfriend and I rented the cabin and brought my 8 year old son to see Rocky Mountain National Park. What I liked about the cabin was that it’s secluded. It’s sort of in a neighborhood but you can’t really see the house from the road. It has a small hidden driveway. Eveything worked great, including the grill and shower. The drive to the park is about 25 to 30 min and there is a grocery store about 15 minutes away. We also enjoyed the hummingbirds right outside the window on the patio that has a view of the mountains. For the price we definitely enjoyed this place, very clean cabin, and perfect for our size group.
If you’re going to be visiting Estes Park be aware it is quite a drive (about 2 hours through the park) because you have to drive to the top of the national park mountains and get around slow moving traffic of people taking they’re time. We liked Granby better than Estes park anyway though. Also drive slow on the dirt road leading up to the cabin because there are deer roaming the neighborhoood. (Passed a girl in the ditch on the second day).
