Family friendly unit
Good clean unit. Close to everything. Everything worked. Good if you have children as it has cement walls, is tiled in the living areas and has good solid furniture and fittings to avoid those 'little accidents' children have. Views are nice. Like the last review, I found it probably needs a little updating as it still has the brown facade of the 70s, 80s in some areas. Mattress in main bedroom was a little hard so you may need to bring a topper if your sensitive to that sort of thing. Kids found the triplebunk fine. Lots of full length mirrors in bedrooms, loungeroom and bathroom so you can check yourself out before going to the beach!
A little gem
Location: is five stars, a 2 minute walk to the beach and it's main strip shops, Forster side. Over the bridge, and within 10 mins you are in Hamiltons eating oysters and sipping your 2-3-4-5-6th cocktail. Perfect for both families, couples or friends away.
Price: very good value.
Facilities: it has its own lick up garage in a secured and gated under ground parking. But in terms of other facilities and furniture this property is very much lagging behind it's apartments around it. Had a few friends staying at the Mirage, one in the penthouse and the others in its other ocean view units - this flat needs updating from its electric fan, screen door and an installation of air conditioning just to name a few. It is clean and can sleep a family of 5 perfect for those on a budget. I would highly recommend this place however without a/c the real summer months may be a struggle.
