Had a lovely stay. Enjoyed the apartment, clean, comfortable and beautifully relaxing opposite the park and seaside.
We are return visitors and find this unit suits us very well. Its location is quiet with lovely views across the park to the ocean, and ideal for walking either to Bennetts Head or Forster main beach. Pebbly Beach and the Tanks are opposite for a swim or relax in the park. It has a large outdoor undercover area with views, and is ground level allowing for easy access. We have always found the unit well equipped and clean. The communal barbecue is a plus. Highly recommended.
Location is OK, unit was clean but furniture was dusty. windows needed a good clean and window locks didn't work properly.
Thank you for your review. Many of our guests choose this unit for its ideal location across the road from Pebbly Beach. We strive to ensure our properties are always clean and have reminded our cleaners to check all furniture. The locks have been checked to ensure they operate properly as they can sometimes be affected by the salt air, as the unit is so close to the sea. Too many Maintenance issues!
This property has potential but unfortunately has too many maintenance issues. There is only one pedestal fan, no air conditioning and no ceiling fans. The bedrooms were very stuffy, particularly the main bedroom. We could not unlock the sliding door from the main bedroom to the balcony which meant the room was always very stuffy. The bathroom and separate toilet would be so hot that even after a cold shower you would come out sweating. We were warned to be careful about security but had problems with a number of the locks. We had to get a plumber in urgently to fix a dangerous problem with the bathroom basin which presumably should have been picked up prior to our arrival. The unit needs a good dust, windows need to be cleaned and it needs to be sprayed for cockroaches. The garage for this unit is very difficult to manoeuvre into and out of. Also the marker on the map on the website seems to be in the position of 82 Head Street not 92 which is misleading for the location.
We are disappointed you felt the unit had too many maintenance issues, but do thank you for your detailed review. Issues do arise from time to time and we strive to solve these quickly such as the plumbing issue you experienced. We have also subsequently had the locks looked at to ensure they operate properly as they can sometimes be affected by the salt air, as the unit is so close to the sea. The salt air can also land on the windows. As with all our properties, we clean this unit regularly and after every guest departs. We have many guests who regularly return to this unit and we look forward to the opportunity to welcome you again to Forster.
