Nice home with lots of room
We had a nice stay here for Thanksgiving. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Spacious home within easy access to interstate, shopping and the airport. Perfect for a large fami.
Our stay was quite enjoyable. We came to the area for our son's wedding and even hosted the groom's dinner at the house. We had access to a grill, plenty of outdoor seating and a spacious backyard, which we played frisbee in all weekend. The homeowners provided bubbles, toys and sidewalk chalk which the kids enjoyed. We even had a doe and her two fawns walk through the backyard.
One or two suggestions that could make a very nice stay even better. Detailed instructions on how to use the Apple TV and thermostat; more towels and washcloths and sharpen your kitchen knives. And use the top gray number pad to open the garage, not the lower white one. That was a struggle until our 16 year old figured it out. Other than those few small details, our stay couldn't have been better. I highly recommend.
Nice Home in a Quiet Area
First, the owners were wonderfully pleasant to work with and helpful when questions arose. The kitchen was stocked with condiments (butter, ketchup, etc) and bathrooms were stocked with toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc). The neighborhood was quiet. The house is nice and in great shape.
Most people I suspect read the reviews to look for any potential deficiencies, and I think this house has very few. The only ones that I could find were the size of the living room (a little small), garage space for only 1 car, and lack of cable or satellite TV. All minor issues for our group. The deck is huge and there is an outdoor patio off the lower level as well. They had two TVs with DVD player, video games, etc. The kitchen was also stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. They had a pack-and-play as well as high chair waiting for us too. The location is pretty solid with a grocery store, super target, and big thrill factory only 1-2 miles away. The drive to the lake and great mall were very reasonably as well.
Feels like home and sleeps plenty
Great place, tons of sleeping space and very charming. The owner was fantastic to work with.
What a nice home.
This is a very nice home with plenty of room for our family get-together for a nephew's wedding. The property was 20 to 25 minutes from anything and everyting we needed, including airport, Mall of America, Casino, etc. The house felt like a home, was large, clean, and well maintained. We had a variety of ages from young adults to senior citizens, and everyone enjoyed the accomodations. In addition to complimentary coffee (thank you), the 3 full bathrooms were stocked well with everything we needed. Thank you to the owners!
Our Family Reunion
When I reserved this house last year we were coming for a huge family reunion to celebrate my parents 65th wedding anniversary & my Mother's 85th Birthday! I grew up in Minnesota so we were returning with our 3 Son's and their families, which includes our 3 young
Granddaughter's. Unfortunately, my Father ending up passing away, so we came for a funeral and burial. On the last morning, before having to check out at 10 AM, we were at Fort Snelling for his 10 AM burial. Cindy was kind enough to let us come back to the house that morning, change clothes & extend the time for us to pack up and head to the airport.
We also enjoyed being able to stay together as a family. Cindy was so gracious to cater to our young granddaughters needs by providing a porta crib, sheets and high chair for the baby. There were plenty of bedrooms (7), which we only needed were 5 bedrooms. She also made sure that the girls had movies, games, legos and a giant doll house that they loved! To our amazement they also enjoyed the nature from the backyard that included bunnies and deer! After the babies were put to bed, the big kids enjoyed playing X-Box and pool ball.
We did not get to spend a lot of time at the house due to family activities elsewhere but we were able to have amazing breakfasts together and sleep under the same roof with all the amenities of home! This means a lot with little ones and also being able to wash their clothes and make them as comfortable as possible!
Thank you Rasmussen Family for helping to make this a wonderful trip; despite having to deal with my Dad's sudden homegoing.
We will always cherish our many wonderful memories!
