About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 8

Up to eight guests will enjoy a perfect lakefront getaway at this lovely home, which even boasts a shared dock, WiFi, and a washer and dryer.

On the northeast side of the lake, right off Highway 150, it's easy to get to everything from wineries to eateries in a short drive. And the public boat launch is nearby so you can bring your own boat to enjoy endless days of waterskiing, wakeboarding, and tubing.

Three cozy bedrooms have four beds among them, and there are two sofabeds, giving each of the eight guests a wonderful place to rest each night.

And the two full bathrooms make washing up and rinsing off the lake water convenient.

Grill up tasty fish fillets on the gas barbecue out back, then sit outside (or inside at the dining room table for six) and watch the boats glide by on the lake. Play lawn games in the backyard and take turns jumping off the dock into the cool water.

When the sun has set, come inside for a snack from the full kitchen (major and small appliances included) before watching a movie on the flatscreen TV (complete with cable and a DVD/VHS player) in the living room.

Historic downtown Chelan is only six miles away and is great for window shopping. Treat the entire group to a meal out at the Alpenhorn Cafe, set over by the Lake Chelan State Park. Tour and taste crisp wines at any of the 24 area wineries, including one of the local favorites, Tunnel Hill Winery.

From cross-country skiing in the winter at nearby Echo Valley to fishing in Lake Chelan, this cozy home makes for the perfect destination.

About Vacasa of the North Central Cascades

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this homeour team is standing by!

House is dirty, dusty, broken furniture, doors.. Unlivable condition

 • 1 of 5

The house was not in the condition to let guests in. I would never stay in the house if i have known of the below issues. It was not safe for my children.

As i mentioned on the phone and left the feedback, here are following issues:

1. Master-bedroom patio door was broken (see picture)

2. Master bedroom door lock did not work properly. My 1 year old child was locked inside while my husband was trying to open the door. You need to warn guests of the . safety issue.

3. One of the bedrooms with two bunk beds. Bed was missing sheets so it was not usable. Blinds were broken so we could not open/close it.

4. Overall cleanness of the place was questionable:

- towels were wet and most of them were very old

- dust everywhere

- some knives/folks were dirty

- patio outside had spiderwebs everywhere and looked like the place had not been clean in ages.

- grill was dirty

5. On Saturday of our stay, we had a lady coming in at 8:30 AM and started loudly mowing the grass. No warning from the management that somebody will be coming. My children were still asleep.

6. Furniture in some places were broken or dirty.

Dirty, dusty old house. It's a SCAM..

 • 1 of 5

Place was dirty. Towels were wet and looked like they were 20 years old. some of the silverware was very dirty. I had to wash any dish that we used for eating. There were spider webs and dust everywhere.
One of the beds did not have sheets on it.
Door to the patio in the master bedroom was broken.
In multiple places, furniture was broken and unclean.
Blinds in the bedroom (with two bunk beds were broken).
On top of everything, at 8:30 AM on Saturday, i had a lady came and started mowing the grass waking up the kids.. Overall, my worst experience renting a house from the owner. I would never do it again.. better stay in the hotel then you know that everything will be taken care of .. To top it all off, at night, there are bats flying around.. we could only enjoy the patio until the sunset and then you need to hide from bats inside the house.
Nice place to stay but lacked supplies

 • 4 of 5

This place's location/deck/yard are worth 5 stars. However too many issues changed my rating.

This place had little to no toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwasher soap. I'm sorry but if I'm renting this place and spending a lot of money, those items should be stocked. I had to run to the store to buy all and that should never happen with a rental. There is also a bug issue. Whomever is cleaning needs to clean a little better.

Working with Vacasa was really easy. I would rent from them again but would check supplies first.

Beautiful place on the water. Loved sitting out on the deck enjoying a glass of wine with friends and taking in the view.

Great Location

 • 4 of 5

A few minutes from Chelan and Manson and right on the water. You come here for the deck and dock, though the house is nice enough. Spent a couple of days in April with a girl’s wine tasting get away and there are some great finds!
