November starts the Holiday Lights display at Seven Springs and most days before Cristmas week are still available. Winter weekends starting Christmas week through February 2019 are pretty much sold out at Alpine Lodge. Please consider early December and March or a midweek stay and you will have the slopes to yourselves. Lots of activities and maybe there will be good skiing too.
Seven Springs has plenty of special events free access to the nearby mountain top poo during the summer and tennis courts., volley ball basketball and playground facilities year round. Rates are much lower in the summer and Fall Many families say the kids like it here more than the beach. There are numerous activities at the resort and the surrounding area to take advantage of. Think biking and festivals for example. If the dates work our, the owners are happy to assist in planning or even escorting a bike outing to the Great Allegheny Passage in nearby Rockwood Pa. Just let us know your plans.
Now accepting reservations through March 2019
Please note that our complex is one of the few that is on a ski trail without having to back track or cut through other buildings and parking lots. Please make sure you consider this before going to another property that claims ski in ski out access, particularly if there is not any natural snow. Check the pictures of the trail; these pictures were taken by the owners from the unit. You can see the snow making guns in the pictures.
For ski season, we suggest booking soon, as the weekends will fill up. Start thinking about next year's ski season.
Also, consider our place as a stop over if biking the GAP Trail. We are about a 45 minute drive from the Connellsville trailhead and about 25 minutes from Rockwood. You could stay over for 2 nights while riding the 50 miles or so between these two spots.
Please check the Seven Springs website at http://www.7springs.com
In addition to the on site activities, Seven Springs is in the middle of numerous destination spots in the Laurel Highlands.
SPECIAL NOTE: This three bedroom two bath condo can be separated into 2 sides to allow privacy or separate rental into 2 units (sides A and B, often referred to as a "lock-out" unit). We may be able to rent side A or B if you don't need a full 3 bedroom 2 bath. This may include some dates that we have blocked off, so please inquire. We can adjust the rates as appropriate.
Side A includes a full living and dining area with a complete kitchen, washer and dryer and one full bedroom and bathroom. There is a separate balcony off of the living area.
Side B includes two bedrooms with a Jack and Jill bath between them, with an additional sink in the master bedroom and a separate balcony off of the master bedroom.
Each of the three bedrooms has a queen sized bed with cable HD TV. Currently we have a moderate selection of channels and FREE WIFI.
The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of utensils, pots and pans. You can cook in and the kids can stop by for lunch or just to warm up during ski season. We plan on using the place frequently and will be leaving some nonperishable cooking items for renters to use; you won't be entering an empty unit. We have plenty of towels, linens, blankets, pillows for your use and will strive to make your stay comfortable.
The dining area features a grand but rustic wooden dining table with seating for 6; room for everyone. There is a 48 inch High Definition Flat Screen TV that can be viewed from the dining table or while relaxing in then large comfortable leather couch and matching love seat. The arm chair looks out over the mountains, while also facing the other furnishings and the television.
The living area has views of the mountains through a sliding glass door that opens to a balcony.
The units in this area are one of the few places that you can watch the Avalanche Chairlift (Lift No. 1) bring people up the slope and watch the skiers head either down Avalanche (blue) or continue on Boomerang Trail (green) right by the condo. It will be fun watching whether a skier will head down Goosebumps (double diamond) or continue down the fun and curvy Boomerang Trail to make it back to the Avalanche lift. Either way, you will have a great view of the skiers going by.
We will do what it takes to make things right. We do ask that you respect the property and let us know if you have any questions or if there is anything you need.
No smoking or pets.
