My husband and I purchased our week at Snowbird when our triplets were only 3 years old. They grew up on the mountain, learning to ski in premier snow. in 2013 my husband of 33 years passed away. I returned to school and graduated in May 2015 from CSUF and on the same day my daughter graduated from SDSU with her BA in Technical Theater. One son attends Ringling College of Art while his brother remains in Southern California pursuing a degree in Landscape Design. As a newly empty nester with adult children too busy to take time off for vacation, I am now releasing for rent our much loved and used time at Snowbird hoping others will experience a measure of the joy we have over the past 20 years.

Why Randeleigh Harris chose Salt Lake County

Living in Southern California, we wanted to find a vacation spot that was an easy drive (11 hours), near a city that offered many different traveler options, an easy airport for guests to fly in and out of, nearby family, and a short, easy drive to the resort as my daughter suffered from acute care sickness as a child. Having rented time-shares from friends over the years and seeing the benefit in traveling with children, we were very interested in investigating the very young Cliff Club one year while visiting family. After taking the tour and looking at the many options, we knew this would be a place we would not only enjoy using every year (and we usually do) but its high exchange value made it attractive as the three room/sleeps 10 lock out offered us a three week trade at any other resort. Another vision we had for buying at Snowbird was the ability to gift our children with a week anywhere in the world for a honeymoon which has become a reality. We chose Snowbird because of its unique setting, incredible ski conditions and fantastic amenities. We never once worried about letting our triplets wander the facility, knowing it was child friendly and child safe. Snowbird also has a kids ski free policy for children under 12 and Chickadee, the "bunny slope" right out of the ski lockers (heaters in the lockers for boots!) is free for guests and owners making it very easy for seasonal skiers to brush up on their skills without having to pay.

What makes this Condo unique

Teaching three year old to ski is much easier than dressing them for the snow and hauling all their gear for them. Snowbird made that so easy. With ski lockers right at the slope, we could leave all their gear in the lockers knowing the boots and gloves would be dry every morning. Lockers, lift tickets, ski shoppe, snacks, and repairs are all steps away from each other. Walking the children right on to the slope, zipping jackets, adding hats and gloves and finally snapping on their skis right on Chickadee, made it the easiest, most child friendly ski resort ever. My children grew up on the slopes and are expert skiers now, leaving old mom in their powder wakes. Dad wasn't a skier but loved cooking so would wander over to the Snowbird center, pick up a few extra goodies and have fabulous meals ready when we returned from our ski adventure. He loved taking walks through the resort, visiting with folks from all around the world, enjoy the spa or take in a good movie. He never missed skiing because he loved just being there. It was worth every penny spent for the years of fantastic memories. Returning from year to year, we have become very familiar with the Salt Lake area and have enjoyed visiting nearby family in Park City, seeing the local sites, and even taking in a moving or two since great theaters area only 20 minutes down the mountain.
