lovely, clean, good location
My husband and I came to seattle to visit his brother. We chose this place due to its proximity to his brother. We were very pleased. We were 2 blocks from the light rail to get to seattle center, close to expressways (we went to Mt Rainier and wine tasting in Woodinville). It was nice to have a feel of the neighborhood which was quiet and safe. Annette could not have been nicer and made us feel right at home.
This wonderful couple came to Seattle to visit family an stay with us for a few days. They kept the place sooo clean it’s like they didn’t even stay there! We would invite Victoria and her Husband back any time for a visit. Great couple
Loved our stay
Accommodations were so cozy. Our host, Annette, could not have been sweeter. My wife fell at the airport and scraped her knee. Annette went above and beyond to care for my wife in the most loving and thoughtful of ways. It's so very heart warming to know that there are people as loving and caring towards strangers like Annette. Our bed was so comfortable that we slept very peacefully. We've already began discussing when we can get back to not only visit lovely Seattle, but to also see wonderful Annette.
I had a great stay with Annette. Her downstairs is roomy and quiet and was very clean. The house is only a 10 minute walk to the nearby Link station that takes you to either the airport or into downtown Seattle. The taqueria up on Beacon St is one of the best I've ever been to, and I lived in SF for over a decade, definitely check it out!
Matt was a cool man who was quite, clean, an left the place the way he found it. We will definitely invite him back for a wonderful stay in Seattle again.
Comfort, Class, Cozy
This was my first experience with an Airbnb in Seattle, and I could not have been happier. The owners were absolutely delightful and every little detail was done to perfection. From the cozy white linens on the comfortable bed, to the fresh flowers, stocked mini refrigerator, snacks, fruit, drinks, and lovely bathroom shampoos and soaps, not a detail was overlooked. I will definitely look to this place as a home away from home.
Everything we hoped for
We were on our way to an Alaskan cruise and wanted to stay in Seattle for a couple of days. Annette's lovely accommodations were just what we needed. This was a home away from home - the bed was comfortable, there were supplies both for food and drink and most all toiletries needed were there. It was quiet and easily accessible to transportation. Annette made herself available to help us achieve a personal need we had during our stay and we could not have been better taken care of.
Best host and cleanest place ever: 10000% recommend!!!
Annette is by far the best host we’ve had! She is so sweet, funny, thoughtful, and has the best energy. She was extremely welcoming and made our stay very comfortable, it felt like home. The place was really clean and was fully stocked with everything we needed including snacks. She really went out of way to make sure we were taken care of and even told us about many places to visit and activities to do during our stay. Our vacation wouldn’t have been as wonderful as it was if it wasn’t for her, theres no question that we will be staying with her again if we come back to visit..thanks so much Annette!!
Jenan, an her two beautiful girls visiting the Seattle area for several days was the best guess I have had in the the Retreat by far. This family was beautiful, warm, happy an excited to be away from home to discover this great city. I would welcome them back for a stay any day so we can discover what’s new an exciting. We loved this family.
The neighborhood is quite and peaceful. Beacon hill is one of the oldest establish neighborhoods in the city of Seattle. You will love the neighborhood hotspots such as, the Fresh Flour bakery & cafe, The Oaks, this is a bar, The Station coffee, Cafetal Quilomobo, Tippe and Drague Alehouse or Delite Bakery—one of the favorite spots for residents here. When you're heading south, you’ll go through Jefferson Park, which has a golf course, hiking trails, tennis courts, and kid-friendly play equipment. Have fun!
