Stunning Multi-Level Home - In the Heart of the City
Welcome to Casa Strange, we are passionate about Nashville, urban living, and Southern Hospitality. This brand new, multi-level house is tailored for groups. We are centrally located just a few blocks away from Downtown's legendary Honky Tonks, Vanderbilt University, The Gulch, Music Row, and 12th South. We understand you are here to have a blast, with this in mind, we will guarantee an early check-in at noon and a 5:00 pm check-out time (yep, just like that) so go ahead, plan away!
Thoughtfully and beautifully laid out, this 2,400 square feet, 4 level home was built in 2015. Due to its unique floor plan, the house works well for groups, families, couples traveling together, or colleagues on a business trip. There are several areas within the house for groups to convene or to serve as retreats for each individual to get away from it all.
Upon entering, you will find an open floor plan perfect for groups and families. The Dining room accommodates up to 8 guests and our nicely appointed kitchen is sure to be the focal point to a great breakfast or afternoon tapas. The Living Room offers comfortable seating in an inviting atmosphere.
The Master Suite is located on the second floor and features a king bed, seating area, custom built closet and large walk-in shower. We love this space, the garage is detached from the house and the Master Suite connects to it through an interior bridge as it occupies the entire space on top of the garage.
On the the 3rd floor you will find 2 additional bedrooms: a Queen Bedroom and a second bedroom with two Twin Beds. We've stocked the Family Room with board games and books, the perfect spot for a lazy afternoon or an evening-in to watch movies. The Laundry room, also on this level is fully stocked to make sure laundry is less of a chore and more of pleasurable activity (not ;-)...).
The Basement Suite is essentially a second master as it has a King size bed, full bathroom and separate access to our amazing outdoor deck. This room is accessible through both: its own separate entrance and through the interior of the house.
Although we've strived to style each bedroom with its own unique flair, we've also put a lot of thought into ensuring our guestrooms offer a high level of comfort. With this in mind, each bed has been outfitted with pillow top mattresses, two different kinds of pillows and lush, organic, 100% cotton sheets. You will sleep in the clouds.
We believe in traveling light. For ease of packing and to add further enjoyment to your visit, our bathroom provisions include Sulfate Free Shampoo & Conditioner and Organic Shower Gel. And, of course, there are plenty of fluffy towels for everyone.
We want you to feel right at home whether you are visiting us for one night or one month; with your comfort in mind, we have placed two bathrobes in each guestroom closet.
The Refrigerator is always stocked with complimentary soft drinks and bottled water and our Keurig machine offers a nice selection of Starbucks coffee blends. We are happy to customize our offerings prior to your arrival based on your personal preferences.
What else can you expect? You can expect to find an immaculate house. We launder all towels and all bed linens including duvet covers after each guest's stays. We would like to make both Lidia and Nancy (Silvia's and Daren's Moms) proud and get their "housekeeping seal of approval"; with this in mind we use all $175.00 of the cleaning fee you pay towards a professional cleaning service.
Have we thought of it all? We'd like to think so, but, in case we haven't, we are only a phone call or text away to deliver it to you and your guests. If you are reading this and still are unsure about what your experience could be like? Call us. We are both great at painting a picture and hopefully assist you in making the right decision. The right decision may not be to stay with us but we love meeting people and sharing our "local" Nashville point of view.
• Guests will have access to the laundry room including detergent and related supplies.
• There is additional parking on site for visitors.
• We welcome all guest interactions 24-7. This is our home and as such we manage it ourselves. You will always deal with us directly. No management companies or 3rd parties are involved.
• We are committed to responding to all inquiries, questions, comments and concerns within one hour.
• We want to provide an exceptional stay and create a memorable experience from time of reservation to departure. With this in mind, we personalize each stay by letting our guests determine our level of involvement and preferred method of communication. What does this mean to you? We are available to meet and greet our guests upon arrival or leave detailed instructions regarding keyless access to our home. You decide.
We hope You Love Casa Strange as much as we do. With that in mind here are the House Rules:
• We Love our Neighbors. Please no parties past 10:00 pm. A party constitutes 50% more people than the number booked.
• We Love our Stuff and have taken great pride in curating all aspects of this home. Please treat it with care so others may enjoy it too.
• We Expect you to treat our towels and linens with the same respect you would exercise in your own home. There will be an extra charge for soiled towels and linens.
• This should go without saying but here we go: Absolutely no smoking inside the house. Please use the patio and ashtrays provided.
• We want to ensure your stay 100% as you had envisioned it; if something is not up to snuff, please let us know. We will correct it right away.
• Remember: Karma - is a Beautiful Thing.

About Silvia Strange
We moved from Texas to Nashville 3 years ago and have fallen in love with this town. We share a deep connection with our family, our friends and Mila The Wonder Dog (Mila is our one year old Blue Heeler, definitevely our partner in crime). Travel has played a huge role in our marriage and in our lives. We deeply believe in the saying that "travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer." Looking back at our own travels, our most memorable stays where those where we found the sweet spot between uncomplicated luxury and comfort. This is what we hope to share with you and this is what Casa Strange is all about. Cheers! Silvia and Daren Strange

Amazingly perfect Casa for our adult family
Our family of 3 adult children and spouses had a Nashville reunion and stayed at Casa Strange. It was perfect for us. Silvia and Darren made us feel welcomed and were ultra accommodating. We would stay here again.
Amazing Hosts with a Great Location for all that you need in Nashville!
Silvia & Darren do a great job of making you feel welcomed in their home without their presence even being there. We arrived to the house with easy access, a wonderful welcome/care package, and everything that we needed for our stay. The location could not be any better, as we were about a $5-7 Uber ride to all the prime locations throughout Nashville. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about taking their next trip to the Music City!
We had 4 couples and Casa Strange had ample room for us all. There were so many nice touches provided by the owners as well. It was a short LYFT ride to where we wanted to go each day - really the perfect place. We highly recommend it! Thanks Casa Strange for a great stay!
Clean & Cozy!
We were greeted with chilled waters, soft drinks and a bottle of wine. That was a great start to a lovely trip to Nashville! We enjoyed listening to the records that were provided while drinking our wine. After a filled day touring all the hot spots.. it was great to sleep in the cozy beds. I recommend this house to all! You won't be disappointed! :)
The house is in immaculate condition, beautifully decorated with nice personal touches.
This is perfect for 4 couples; all agreed it was terrific. Spacious bedrooms , gorgeous furnishings, and very conveniently located near downtown Nashville. Would HIGHLY recommend.
Beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous updated so much attention to detail modern clean comfortable
I'm simply blown away by this house and by the owners! Silvia was amazing from the minute I sent an email inquiring about the house months ago. My housemates and I were all just absolutely amazed by how beautiful this house is, how modern and updated everything is. None of us want to leave! So much attention to detail. The layout of the house was perfect with different pockets of places for people to go and work or chill out. What else can I say? I truly can't recommend it highly enough! I look forward to being here again someday!
The Neighborhood Wedgewood-Houston (WE-HO) is an emerging, thriving neighborhood home to Nashville's "maker's community." Nestled between sobo and 12-South the neighborhood is just 1 mile from Downtown Nashville. The location is also just a few minutes (less than 2 miles) from Vanderbilt University. Due to our location in South Nashville, freeway access is an added convenience. In less than 25 minutes via I-65 you can be in Brentwood and in less than 30 minutes in Historic Franklin. Both of them can be excellent options if you have extra time during your visit and would like to explore the outskirts of Nashville. We have a list of all our favorite Nashville places to eat and drink in each of our guestrooms but here is a preview: • WE-HO: Within walking distance Gaby's Burgers, this burger (meat or vegan) will make it to your list of your most memorable Nashville meals. Dozen Bakery, cookies and scones. Enough said. • 12 South: 1 mile away Urban Grub, you think you know the best pork chop? You don't. Get one here. Jenny's Ice Cream, deliciousness in a cup (or cone). • East Nashville: 4 miles away The Holland House & Refuge, known for its excellent cocktails and multi course menu tastings. Más Tacos Por Favor, for the best Tortilla Soup this side of the Mississippi. Rumors East, excellent wine list and lovely outdoor seating. Perfect for girl dinners or family get-together. Pomodoro East, rocking Italian food. Hand made pasta, yum. • The Gulch: 1 mile away Yazoo and Jackalope, awesome local micro-breweries. Biscuit Love, for some well deserved, amazing carob-loading time, try this place. Kayne Prime, if you are looking for an amazing steakhouse...go here. • Downtown: 1.5 miles away Pinewood Social, it's Oh So Nashville, bowling and fancy cocktails. What else can you ask for? Kitchen Notes @ The Omni Nashville Hotel, you've never met a better looking or more delicious breakfast buffet. The Farm House, if you are into Pimento Cheese Beignets. This. Is. Your. Place. Etch, not just beautiful food but amazing, fresh tasting options in an elegant atmosphere. Reserve their private dining room for a fun group dinner. Pub 5, if the weather is great, head to their rooftop deck. Their light bites and cocktails will not disappoint. Honky Tonk Highway, where it all began. You can't leave Music City without checking out Tootsies, Rippy's and Honky Tonk Central. Cheers! • 8th South: less than 2 miles away Sinema, for really pretty people watching. Nice atmosphere and the $$$$ to go with it all. 8th and Roast, are you into drip coffee? Go here. Coffee purists love it. • Germantown: 4 miles away Butchertown Hall, if you love meat and family style servings, this place is Da Bomb. They also have a great outdoor area. 5th and Taylor, the most beautiful restaurant in Nashville. The food is simple and simply amazing. There are so many enticing options in this town! If you need additional guidance or more recommendations, message us, even if you are not staying with us. We would love to help. Getting Around • Due to our super central location a $5.00 UBER will take you most places around town. • Ubering to and from Casa Strange to the airport can be a great option for less than $15.00 one way. • Walking around downtown is safe as there is constant activity until about 3:00 AM every day. • JoyRide offers downtown tours in golf carts. We are not sure how this is legal, but it is, it's also a fun alternative to walking. They work strictly off tips so make sure you have some cash on you. • The Pedal Tavern offers riders the option to drink and bike at the same time. Sound cool? It is. • City Bike Rental Stations are all around town which makes it easy to pick up a bike, ride it around and drop it off when you are ready to stop.
