This well appointed home is available for rent on Aspen’s exclusive Ridge of Red Mountain. Perched alongside a mountain stream, the house blends with its surroundings of large glacier-deposited boulders, pines, aspens, cottonwoods, and service-berries, and is almost invisible from the outside as it is composed of those very same materials. Stunning views framed by each window of Ajax, Highlands, and Tiehack Mountains in the foreground, the 14,000-foot Pyramid Peak and the Maroon Bells in the background. Extremely large operable panels of insulated glass blur the boundaries between inside and out. The inside of the house is cozy and intimate. Expansive exterior terraces include an scenic fire pit, and exterior dining area. A large garden of mountain flowers, Aspens, Pines, and Oaks nestle a beautiful copper plunge pool is great to refresh in during the summer months and becomes a great soaking tub heated through solar energy in the winter time. A wonderful Oak grove shelters an additional outdoor dining area.

The house includes 4 bedrooms including a large bunk room that can sleep 4 adults or up to 6 kids and 4 1/2 bathrooms. Living room with wood burning fire place, library, multiple indoor and outdoor dining areas, family media room with wood burning fire place and mud room are included in this house. This home is the perfect family home. We can provide a crib and kids toys.

We have been coming here for the past 6 years with our children. It is a beautiful place where our family has grown together. The architecture of the house inspires the rituals of our family. It celebrates life and nature and allows us to focus and engage with the surrounding beauty of the mountains.
