Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
The aspen were changing color and the cabin was tucked in with them. I enjoyed the feeling of being veiled in colorful leaves. There was plenty of deck space to spend time on.
This was a cute cabin fit my family of 6 perfectly. I like the location. A few downfall's were that there were quite a few of big black ants and spiders. Plumbing may be where the ants are coming in because when we opened the dishwasher they came crawling out. They probably need a professional to come spray the whole house. Also it would of been nice to have a decent frying pan.
This is a cute cabin and my kids had a blast but didn't like the big black ants and spiders. They need to have pest control to come spray for spiders and bugs. I don't think a can of stuff will do the job. I know it's that time of year but it's still unpleasant.
Overall I would say the house was great, location was excellent and it was clean. For kids it was excellent, and I want to stress that overall it was an excellent experience and we would stay there again.
Now for the criticism- the pans need an update in the kitchen. Not a big deal but its tricky making a scrambled egg, just saying. More importantly, if you have a bad back this IS NOT the cabin for you. All 3 beds are awful. I tried all 3 and all are bad. One I could literally feel the springs and coils. My sister in law stayed one night with us, laid on the bed for 2 minutes and grabbed her sleeping bag out of the car and slept on the floor. I'm not being dramatic when I say that it took me a few minutes to stand up in the morning, and I'm 29 with no back issues. If it werent for how great the rest of the cabin experience was I would even knock it down to 3 stars because I literally dreaded going to bed every night, but I feel that the waking experience, which is most important, was really nice and well thought out.
Loved sitting on the porch surrounded by trees. The furniture and mattresses were definitely broken in and wornout. Kitchen was ok. Overall good place for the price. Bring your own wine opener if you need one too.
