Very enjoyable

Very nice apartment in the perfect location central to everything garmisch. As noted, it does get a little loud in surrounding areas at night, so if you go to bed earlier you will have to deal with the noise. Cannot beat the location if you are looking to experience the restaurants and shops of garmisch with quick access to all slopes and parks. Uwe is a very accommodating host.

Convenient, if a bit warm and noisy

We stayed for a few nights in the summer and the apartment was nice, if a bit warm and noisy. Unfortunately there is a bar in the alley behind the apartment and the noise from that carries right into the apartment for most of the night since the windows have to be open for cooling (no air conditioning). Of course, Garmisch is probably only warm for a few days out of the year so I doubt if anyone in town has A/C!

Also, trash day is Friday and the dumpster is right below the same windows that face the alley where the bar is located - plan to be awakened by the garbage truck at 6am on Fridays if you're around! For the Americans, the unit has a washer but there is no dryer (the same as everywhere else in Europe) so everything has to air dry. Don't hang stuff too close to the windows as it generally rains for a while in the afternoons. YMMV

The property managers, Uwe and Simone, are great and very accommodating of all requests.
