Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We truly enjoyed our (too short) stay in Southport. The house is beautiful and very comfortable for two couples. We had everything we needed, including a large lobster pot to steam lobsters and clams which were a local bargain at Robinsons. We visited two wineries which were located an hour away, Savage Oak and Sweetgrass. We also enjoyed a day of shopping in Boothbay Harbor and Edgecomb Pottery, which had beautiful pottery! Since we were visiting during MLB playoffs, we spent some time relaxing at the house, enjoying the view and lamenting the Red Sox rapid end to a great season. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to return!
We are three couples in our early 60's. We had no trouble getting around this home and it had everything we needed to make our stay a great one.
We have been going to Maine for five years now and I would have to say that this home was the nicest one so far. Great place to stay; private, clean, with three nice bedrooms and two full baths. Only four miles from downtown Boothbay.
This is a lovely home, with beautiful and comfortable furnishings, very bright and an absolutely gorgeous view. Southport is very peaceful, and might be a bit far out for those that want to hit the shops and restaurants in Boothbay Harbor regularly, but if you are looking for R & R and home cooked lobsters with a view, this fits the bill! Perfect setup for families or multiple couples with 2 levels and plenty of space. House is modern, well equipped and although there are houses around, feels very private. Great fish market and restaurant just down the street, and very cute General Store on island for yummy baked goods and small items. We have been vacationing in Boothbay Harbor region for 30 + years and have stayed at Frosty Glen twice. We hope to continue to make this beautiful home our Maine coast vacation retreat for years to come!
This place is magical, with a million-dollar view. Welcoming home, very comfortable and well-equipped. We absolutely do recommend it.
Frosty Glen is a welcoming, magical home. Unforgettable view, convenient location, everything we needed for a great vacation. Didn't want to leave!
Beautiful home and property. Clean, well cared for and beautifully furnished and stocked. Location was perfect. I was very impressed there was a gardner who came two different days to take care of the flower beds. Oliver's and Robinson's are excellent eating and both close to the house. I will definately stay here again.
