REMAINDER OF MARCH AND APRIL NOW REDUCED RATES

This Ski -on, Ski-off 3 bedroom 3 bathroom condo is our pride and joy! 'The Lodges' are regarded as one of the most prestigious developments in the Killington area and offer top quality accommodation and privileged apres ski facilities for the discerning skier.

The location of The Lodges affords the luxury of a genuine ski-on/ski-off experience. Be first to the top of the mountain! You are just steps from the Sunrise Lift. Our unit is approximately 300' from the lift across a level area. Although you could ski across it's quicker to walk across than ski because of the flat ground at this point.

ONE OF THE BIG ADVANTAGES OF STAYING AT 'THE LODGES' IS IT'S LOCATION. BEING PART OF THE SUNRISE COMMUNITY IT IS RIGHT NEXT TO THE SUNRISE CENTER AND LIFT. MORE IMPORTANTLY, YOU ARE ABLE TO USE THIS LIFT WITHOUT A LIFT PASS. THIS IS POTENTIALLY A BIG PLUS FOR NEW SKIERS AS IT MEANS YOU COULD PRACTICE YOUR SKILLS ON THIS SLOPE WITHOUT PAYING FOR A FULL MOUNTAIN PASS. YOU ARE RESTRICTED TO SKIING BACK DOWN 'BEARVIEW' THEN 'SUNDOG' OR 'RENDEZVOUS' BUT YOU DON'T NEED A LIFT PASS FOR THIS. (SEE THE KILLINGTON TRAIL MAP FOR DETAILS)THESE ARE GENTLE RUNS AND IDEAL FOR NEW SKIERS AND NOVICES WANTING TO GAIN CONFIDENCE.

AFTER ALL, NOVICE SKIERS WILL BE PAYING FULL PRICE FOR A COMPREHENSIVE PASS ACCESSING ALL OF THE MOUNTAIN BUT THEY MAY, FOR A FEW DAYS AT LEAST, SEE ONLY NURSERY SLOPES - AND POSSIBLY CROWDED ONES AT THAT. MY VIEW IS THAT IT'S WORTH CONSIDERING PAYING FOR PRIVATE TUITION AND USING ONLY THE SUNRISE VILLAGE TRIPLE LIFT FOR YOUR FIRST FEW LESSONS --- BIG POTENTIAL SAVINGS!!

Sunrise Mountain Village also offers an awesome array of hiking, snowshoeing, and skiing exploration from right outside your door. There has even been sleigh rides on offer.

Forget frozen or muddy gridlocked car parking lots and massive lines of skiers trying to get onto the mountain - get there first and ski right home at the end of the day! You can ski right up to your door! (subject to snow conditions and car parking lot condition)

Interior Comforts

There has been no expense spared in making this a truly executive unit. The large living room area features an imported 'L' shaped leather sofa and we have installed a UHD 55" cable TV, with DVD and Hi-Fi. We have now added full very fast WiFi facilities.

Each of the bedrooms has an imported Italian King size bed (Cal King) and each bedroom also has its own luxury bathroom. We have also supplied two fold-away beds. We have also supplied each of the three bedrooms with large HD TV's. (The master bedroom as a 50" inch HD LED TV) Bedroom 2 has a 43 inch HD TV and Bedroom 3 has also been supplied with a 43" HD TV.

The gourmet kitchen in this unit features a designer stainless steel appliance package, cherry cabinets, granite counter tops and slate floors.

These are top-end, $1/2 Million + units and take some beating for executive quality

This unit is really superb and is located next to the Sunrise Chair Lift and Sports Center, providing you with the owner privileges that you deserve. (We provide you with exclusive swipe-cards for privileged access)

At the end of a busy day on the slopes enjoy the large indoor pool (very warm in winter!!), the indoor hot tub, the steam room, the sauna, the well equipped gymnasium. Outside there is now a very large 10 person Hot tub in a covered lanai You can even pick up a light meal at the restaurant (Seasonal) Open 11am to 300pm for lunches and additionally on Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner.

This condo is ideal for three couples as there are very few 3- bed, 3- bath units and even fewer with such a spectacular location and with these facilities on offer. Ski-on ski-off and avoid the crowds!

Summer in Killington

Just because the snow has melted and the skiers have gone home, it doesn't mean the Killington Region shuts down, in fact it comes alive. When the green grass begins to sprout, the air gets a little warmer, and the days get a little longer, thoughts turn to the great outdoors, summer activities, and unforgettable Vermont vacation experiences. With flowing streams, hidden waterfalls, secluded lakes, quaint villages, breathtaking views, covered bridges, green hills and cool breezes, the summer seems endless.

The Killington Region has many unique areas to hike and explore, with trails for all ages and levels. If you prefer biking you can tour the region along country roads, scenic Route 100, or ride Killington's mountain trails.

Experience a fly fishing adventure in the heart of the Green Mountains. Play a relaxing round of golf at nearby Killington golf course, or take a cool swim in our outdoor sparkling pool. Go for a swim in one of the many lakes and rivers located nearby. There are a few world class rivers which offer some of the best fly fishing rivers in the entire northeast. Native Eastern Brook Trout are in the smaller streams of the Killington area, and huge rainbow and native brown trout await in the Vermont rivers such as the White and Ottaquechee Rivers.

The Lodges is available year round and we offer excellent rates for longer term summer packages.

LONG TERM SUMMER RENTALS AVAILABLE FROM $2800 PER MONTH AVAILABLE MAY THROUGH TO MID NOVEMBER - CALL FOR DETAILS. ($100 per night!!)

WE ARE ALSO OFFERING SHORTER TERM SUMMER RENTALS WITH RATES AS LOW AS $195 PER NIGHT SUBJECT TO A MINIMUM 7 DAY RENTAL

We also currently permit dogs (very few owners do so) - subject to assurances of good behavior (we have recently been let down in this respect !!)

About Ken Pullan or Lesley Hunter

We live in the UK but have owned property in the US since 1990 when we bought property in Orlando, Florida.

I am a retired senior Police Officer from Durham Constabulary in the UK where I specialized in Serious and Fatal Road Traffic Accident Investigations.

My wife, Dr. Lesley Hunter - specializes in Leadership Consultancy and is a Professional Speaker

Ken Pullan or Lesley Hunter purchased this condo in 2005

Why Ken Pullan or Lesley Hunter chose Vermont

We had previously skied in Killington and when we were looking at properties in this area we felt that this was the best location and that The Lodges were a superb product. The Sunrise area and The Lodges offer the discerning skier superb quality accommodation with unrivalled facilities. There are cheaper places but none offer what you get here

What makes this condo unique

You don't need to use the car to get to the ski lifts (subject to Sunrise Lift operations) and combining that with a genuine 5* quality condo - what more do you need? There are cheaper places but they usually don't have ski lift direct access and the units themselves are of inferior size and quality. We have yet to have a single complaint (other than the occasional gripe about there not being enough snow - which occasionally happens early in the season - but I cannot do anything about that !

great condo for a ski getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This well-equipped unit met our expectations beautifully. It was clean on our arrival and easy to keep that way- with plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 children! We did a lot of cooking and found that the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed.

We were lucky to have great snow conditions. The access to the sunrise lift was an easy walk as promised, and the ski back home- enjoyable! There were some issues with the operation of the lift, and a later than expected start time- but the shuttle system is very accommodating. The owner and manager were easy to contact and very responsive. I guess our only complaint is our long weekend was too short! Killington is a big mountain- actually mountains! Hope we can get back next season for a longer stay!

Good location, condo nice, local management lacking

  • 3 of 5

Stayed here to ski for a week in February. The location is good, there is a short walk to the Sunrise Village chair lift and from there you can access the rest of the mountain. The condo is nice but lacking a little TLC. The towels are worn and we had to request more, and the kitchen was not as stocked as I would have liked (one worn pot holder). That said, the unit is still pleasant. It is below street level, so you do need to carry your skis up a flight of stairs. The most disappointing part of this experience was that the dryer was not working at all. Not having a dryer on a ski vacation is incredibly inconvenient. There really is no property manager (the owner lives in Spain) so communication was very poor, and therefore, frustrating. Thankfully, another owner in the complex was contacted and she let us use her dryer for 2 of 7 days we were there. Still not ideal, but better than nothing. I understand that things break and it was a holiday week, but the lack of communication and local management of this property is why I would not return.

Beautiful setting - spacious well appointed condo

  • 5 of 5

Condo was spacious - perfect for our family - 3 kids - 2 adults - 1 dog. The beds were comfortable, sheets, towels/linens, clean and on the new side. KIthen and living room - modern, comfortable open concept. The outdoor and indoor pools were large enough to do laps and the sports center were very clean and well maintained. The condo is well situated in lush greenery with plenty of trails to hike. The grounds are prestine and quite secluded. Only 2 minor improvements: only 2 deck chairs - one of which was broken and many light bulbs were burnt out with no replacements. But if you want to disconnect and enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this is definitely the place to do it.

Super Convenient!

  • 5 of 5

A group of us went up to Killington last weekend for some spring skiing. The condo is bright, open, and quite spacious....even with 8 people and a dog! Owner and manager were easily accessible via email and text for any questions we had, as well as accommodating to our schedule. The best part for me was that I was able to bring my dog!! Very few owner allow pets, especially dogs of a larger size. Location of the condo was also fantastic...just a 2 minute walk down the hill and across the parking lot to the Sunrise Village Lift. This lift does not require a lift ticket, and was fantastic for our friend who went skiing for his first time. He was able to ride the lift over and over for free, and practice down a green trail. It is also great for advanced skiers - take this lift and ski over to Bear Mountain as a warm up (takes about a minute), pick up your lift ticket and proceed to enjoy the rest of the mountain via Skye Peak Express Lift. Just make sure the lift is open when you plan to go...It tends not to run early and late in the season. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely rent out this unit again.

We are right on Bear Mountain and have access to our own lift at Sunrise. We often get asked 'how far are you from the mountain?' or 'how far is it to the ski-lifts?' - well, we are right there next to them
