About Jenna Goyak
I was born and raised outside of Columbia. My immediate family still live in the area. We are die hard USC fans. Everyone in my family went to USC. I went to a small, all-girls college named Columbia College. Home of the fighting koalas! I am still a SC native and live in Tega Cay, SC. I love to visit Columbia and my family. Columbia has so much to offer from Riverbanks zoo to an exciting night life. I am happy to give any support to my guests. I want to make your visit to Columbia relaxing and remember able.

Cozy clean cottage
Came up to Columbia to watch some UFGator baseball and needed a place to stay and keep my pups. This cottage is very clean albeit a little small. It was just right for our short stay. The bed is super comfy! Only little glitch was the TV downstairs had some issues and although the owner tried her best to get it resolved - no luck. Only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is it is a little hard to find. If I did not have navigation on my phone - I’d be lost in this little neighborhood. We would stay here again!
Great place to stay! Owner has thought of all the little things to make a stay away from home as comfortable and convenient as possible. The home is In a great location to restaurants, grocery stores, and other shopping. The neighborhood even has a nice park we were able to use to get in our daily run. Would definitely stay here again!
A little run down.
The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. The place is a little rundown. The pictures look better than it is in reality. Not the nicest of neighborhoods. I had to do some light sweeping in the kitchen and living room when I arrived and there was mold on the shower curtain. The really creepy thing was I had a box of donuts on the bar when I left, and when I came back a light was on in the kitchen which I did not turn on, and the box of donuts was gone. Which is kinda scary!! That means some with a key or the code came in while I was gone all day to my nephews army graduation. That's unacceptable!
I'm sorry that your stay was not as you expected. Calling a historic neighborhood "rundown" just because the homes are from the 1920-1940's. They are all lovely and well maintained. This particular home was just completely renovated 2 years ago and is only 30 years old. The housekeeper is the only person that has access to the master keypad code. She has been in my employment for several years and never enters the home until a guest departs. I can not explain what happened to your doughnuts. It seems odd to me that she would drive 20 miles, enter the home, steal your doughnuts and leave everything else in the home undisturbed. I am sorry you lost your doughnuts. I will be most happy to replace them for you.
We are from Columbia, and my husband and I and our 3 month old daughter stayed here for 3 weeks during a home renovation - and we had a great stay! I will admit that upon first approach, we thought the area was a little run-down, but every night was quiet, the neighbors were all super friendly, and we had absolutely no issues whatsoever. The kitchen is fully equipped and even stocked with spices and any cooking utensil you could ever need. The washer and dryer worked great. There is ample hot water and the water pressure is really good. The bed was firm which is exactly how I like it - it was a little too firm for my husband but he adjusted fine. The decor is great and the interior was spotlessly clean. Jenna, the owner, was super available and quick to respond to every communication. This is by far the best deal for an accommodation in town.
Clean, Great Value
We appreciated the easy in, easy out for this property. Our luggage didn't make it right away so I also appreciated things like shower gel being provided. Property was as advertised and a good value.
I stayed at Jenna's rental for approximately 2 months while doing my clinical internship for school. Any problem I had Jenna was eager to help. The rental is very cozy and had everything I needed. I would definitely rent again if I come back to Columbia.
