About Vacasa, WA - Seattle Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Dispite the clouds and some rain we had a great time. The condo was close to everything we wanted to see. The unit was clean and was much better than staying at s hotel.
Dexter Brewpub across the street had great food and brew!!
Great location in downtown Seattle.
This is a great 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of downtown Seattle. Handy walking distance to the Chihuly Glass museum and the Space Needle as well as the McCaw Hall if you're in town for a performance there. The are a few decent restaurant within walking distance so if you don't feel like cooking you have options. I stayed there with my mother and we both felt safe walking at night together. All the basics are available in the kitchen and there are plenty of towels in the bathroom. The apartment is a decent size and we never felt like we were stepping on each other's toes. The only negative comment I would say is that the carpet in the bedrooms are extremely stained and could do with replacement. Also, it's on a busy street so if you're a light sleeper, make sure to bring earplugs. I slept fine with them.
Great apartment for our families needs.
Great and Convenient Location
Location is great and access is easy, there is a brew house across the street along with a coffee shop right below the unit
Not worth the price
The location was great, but I'm afraid the cons far outweigh the pros on this place:
1. Getting access to the building and even finding the apartment once we were inside was a nightmare. Mind you, we should've been prepared for this since there were multiple emails containing pages of convoluted instructions. Fortunately, we were all in good spirits and considered the experience more of a vision quest than a rat race.
2. Apparently it's not customary to have central air in Seattle?? The only relief we got from the summer heat was a slight breeze from the windows.
3. Open windows were a must, but that also meant we could hear every single person in downtown Seattle on their morning commute. Ear plugs would've been nice.
4. The beds were meh.
5. The pillows were oversized wafers.
6. The security system on the front door was temperamental at best.
7. The shower had piss poor pressure, the tub didn't drain properly, and it was so dark in there, it felt like we were bathing in a cave.
8. Having a washer/dryer was a nice perk, but the washer took over an hour and a half to wash!
9. Also, there was an ironing board and no iron.
10. We called Vacasa about a late checkout. The gal on the other end flat out said no without asking for any information about our reservation, building, name, nothing.
As mentioned before, the location was great. We were within walking distance of many bars, restaurants, etc., but that didn't come close to making up for all the drawbacks. Just not worth the price tag.
Comfortable and clean
This apartment is located in a perfect neigborhood. It was clean and comfortable. We loved the balcony which was in a different floor. All the light weren't working properly. We had to evacuate the apartment at 2:00 A.M. due to a false alarm. The main concern was that we couldn't figure out how to get in to the garage for the first time. The instructions weren't really clear and the 800 number wasn't sure how the garage key works. The instructions should have been: Pick up the apartment key from the key lock outside of the garage; go to the apartment and pick up the garage key and then come back down and get your car into the garage. We were looking for the garage key in the key box.
