Great Stay at a Great House!
We had an awesome week in Marquette. The house and Angi were both great. We had a wonderful experience, the house was clean and nicely located to all the things we wanted to do in the area. Well stocked kitchen for cooking, great back deck and yard games, and nice to have the central air for the days it got very hot. We could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend this house to anyone interested in staying in Marquette. Angi was a great host who gave us some wonderful advice on things to do in the area and was great to talk to about the area in general.
A great place that's even nicer than it looks in the pictures
My family and I decided to make a trip to the Upper Peninsula for our family vacation and Angela's house looked like a good fit to our needs. It covered all our bases, central location to the attractions we wanted to take in, Wi-Fi, A/C, nice kitchen for dining in, etc. It was nicer than the pictures and the other reviews implied. The house is clean, nice, and comfortable, and it is clear that they've gone through the trouble for providing all the little things that you wouldn't normally even think to have for guests. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying there again if we came back to the UP.
Wonderful home away from home!
My family and I were in town for our son’s graduation from NMU. The idea was that we would have a place to come back to and have a family cook out to celebrate. Well this home was greater than any expectation we could have.
As soon as we walked into the home we knew we selected right. The homes decorations are so well done you feel you are in a home from HGTV. My wife loved it so much she had to take photos for future reference. The neighborhood is cute and quite. But it is close enough to business and down town. It was a perfect size for our needs and much more comfortable than dealing with a hotel. Comfort, cozy, and luxurious are some of the best ways to describe the inside of the house. The outside of the house was very clean and cute. The backyard was perfect for a cook out with a great deck and grill. Even though in a residential area, it is still private.
As wonderful as the home is, the attention to details and customer service are even better. The owners live next door and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. From fresh muffins and fruit to samples of bathroom products in case you forgot them. Nothing is over looked.
This is a wonderful place to stay. My family will definitely use this home again if available in the future when our travels take us to the Marquette area! Thank you for making our celebration a success.
I personally didn't stay here. I booked the house for one of our managers who was in Marquette to train new employees. He was very happy with it. No complaints! Angela was very nice to work with.
Very nicely renovated home
The home was perfect for our Marquette visit. It has everything you would need and you feel right at home. Would recommend for a Marquette area vacation. Tastefully decorated and immaculate. We will be back.
Great little house
I had already written this but guess it wasn't official. This house was neat as a pin,
totally remodeled in a very attractive way, and in a good location for X-C skiing at
Blueberry Ridge and other local places.
While visiting Marquette, our rental is very close to the downtown area that is host to many art fairs/exhibits, a farmers market, festivals, local shops/restaurants/breweries, a historic museum, bike and ski shops, bike and hike trails, beaches, Presque Isle park, 2 marinas, bike paths, the U.P. 200 sled dog race, parades and much more. We are also only 1 mile from the campus of Northern Michigan University, U.P. Health System Hospital and the U.P. Medical Center.
