About Aimee Cappy
My husband, four children and I live near this house on the bayou. I grew up in this area and we own a seafood market and restaurant 2 miles from the home. My father has been a commercial fisherman my whole life and the house fits perfectly into our lifestyle. The bayou is a way of life for us. My children love to pass by the house after school and check the crab traps or do a little fishing. The house is located next to St. Genevieve Catholic Church. It is such a unique church because it is also situated directly on the bayou. My children love to take the boat to church and enjoy the scenic bayou.
Aimee Cappy purchased this House in 2005
Why Aimee Cappy chose St. Tammany Parish
I have loved this property for years. I would pass the house by boat and admire the beautiful live oak trees and the peaceful setting. Properties are rarely for sale on this historic bayou because most of the homes are inherited through family. We were so fortunate to be able to purchase this home in 2005 and we have lovingly restored it. The house is also located on a private road with only one other house. It is truly a retreat.

Cute and cozy. The perfect place to hide from the Michigan cold!
Aimee and Brian are very thoughtful and welcoming. We had everything we needed and even things we didn't think we needed. The location is perfect. Very close to all your shopping needs but tucked away for your privacy. This house has simple character and charm. The perfect size for a family of four. We will definitely stay here next time we visit :)
The absolute perfect vacation stay!
We absolutely loved staying at Chez Moi, Chez Toi! It was a beautiful home that was super clean and adorably decorated. It was quiet and secluded. Everything was so comfortable. We loved being able to run out to the backyard dock and fish. Plus there were crabpots to catch things in. We will definitely go back. Totally loved it!!!!!
Very nice house, great location, beautiful setting. Convenient to New Orleans and all the city has to offer but also just a short drive to Mississippi and the Gulf Coast. Enjoyed the quiet setting with nothing to wake us but the birds & sunshine.
Wish I could pick this house up and sit it down on my property in Tennessee
We came down with family (Alabama and Clemson fans) for the Sugar Bowl. This property was exactly what we were looking for. Very charming, deep-south feel. This house is very well furnished and my family thoroughly enjoyed spending New Years Eve by the fire. The surrounding areas of Slidell and Covington were very easily accessible. Getting to the game at the Superdome in New Orleans was an easy drive as well. I found myself missing the beautiful floors, porches, and views as soon as we left. Thanks to Aimee for the special treats as well!! Would love to visit when we can do some boating. Will definitely be back!
Great house with charming decor. We will return.
The house is decorated beautifully. The dock was nice to keep our boat on the water all week. The fire place came in handy when we got snow. Aimee has a first class accommodation.
Lovely well equipped property
Hope to return one day.
