Quiet area, centrally located to Jekell and Amelia Islands and only 1 mile to Cumberland Ferry!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is in an area where we, at first, thought it may not be safe, as it seems to be a lower income area. The neighbor across the street had an old sofa sitting out on the front lawn. To be fair, they may have been waiting for trash disposal to pick up, but it was there for the four days of our stay. The area was quiet and safe, as we had no problems at all. The house itself was clean overall with only minor issues. The fan in the bathroom was very dirty and the bathtub could have been cleaner and had a better drain, but the linens were clean and smelled fresh. The kitchen was clean, however, if you plan to cook, it is not well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The decor is very modest, but as I mentioned earlier, the home overall is clean and that's what is most important. It is a quick drive to the Cumberland Island Ferry, less than 2 minutes! If you go there, be sure to take the Land and Legacy Tour and ask for Mike to be your guide. He is loaded with historical information about every aspect of the island and really made the tour worth while. Dale, the owner of the property, was very nice and friendly. He refunded our deposit and most of our cleaning fee (which he did not have to do at all) within one day of our departure! Thank you very much! We had an enjoyable time!!!

We will be back!
Charming cottage ! Super clean, super comfortable, especially the beds! Already talking about making this our yearly home away from home!
Wonderfully quiet and comfortable
We enjoyed staying in the house. Loved the bed, being so close to river; the Riverside restaurant was excellent
Great place for a family!
What a great place for a small family! The place had a great amount of space for all of us. Super helpful having laundry available since we did Cumberland island and other days at the beach! Would recommend staying here for any family who is looking for a quiet place with a nice kitchen and lots of good space!
Amazing deal for the price. Loved the back yard and the beds. Nice quiet neighborhood.
The house was great. Wish 3rd bedroom had a regular bed. The owners were great to work with.
