Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, 1 Half Baths, Sleeps 5
A private deck, a new spa, elegant western-inspired decor, and sweeping views of Bear Mountain make this Big Bear Lake log cabin an ideal destination for families and couples seeking a relaxing alpine getaway.
This two-bedroom home is beautifully situated only half a mile from Bear Mountain Resort, where visitors will find 12 ski lifts and a terrain park in the winter, as well as a golf course and a mountain bike park in the summer. You also have a private hot tub for soaking.
The living space is full of natural beauty, from stone quartz floors to reclaimed wood accents. After a day on the slopes, guests can warm their feet by the stone fireplace, or pile on the leather sofas to watch a DVD on the flatscreen TV.
No detail was overlooked in the full kitchen, which features stainless steel appliances, a pebble backsplash, and leathered granite countertops. Enjoy your meals in the open dining room for six, load up the dishwasher to handle the chores, and enjoy a glass of wine at the bar counter for three.
Step outside to find a stunning tree-lined deck, which features a gas grill, a picnic table, and Adirondack chairs for sunny afternoons. And to ensure that guests unplug and spend time outside, Shasta's Moon is not equipped with WiFi.
At night, this two-bedroom home can sleep as many as five guests in its lovely aspen log beds. The master bedroom features a queen bed, while the second bedroom offers a queen bed and a set of twin bunk beds. There is one full bathroom and a half-bath for guests to share.
No matter the season, there is something for all ages to enjoy in the outdoor wonderland of Big Bear Lake. Swimmers, kayakers, and fishermen will find the Pine Knot Marina only four miles away, while golfers can hit the links at the nearby Bear Mountain Resort. And when the temperatures drop, skiers and snowboarders can explore 748 acres of terrain at Bear Mountain, or drive less than four miles west to ride the 14 lifts at Snow Summit.

About Vacasa, CA - Inland Empire Local Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Beautiful relaxing home
Spring break 2018
House is beautiful and very well outfitted. CLEAN and cozy just a bit dark inside and out. TV needs replacing as someone has blown the speakers. Very nice kitchen and bathrooms too. Driveway is sketchy even in the Spring. Will try to reserve this if we are in Big Bear again. My 14 and two 19 year olds liked it a lot and the disconnect from the internet is good for them and myself.
Wonderful cabin so cozy and clean.
The location was wonderful and the inside was cozy and clean very inviting.
We enjoyed this cabin so much with our Daughter and Grandkids plenty of room for a family of 5 or 6.
Would go back again.
Walking distance from Bear Mountain ski resort. Nice house with many great amenities but could use some improvement. PRO’s: Cable TV, DVD player, fireplace, spacious living, dining, kitchen area, kitchen appliances, warm bedrooms. CON’s: Very steep driveway which could be troublesome in the snow without 4 wheel drive or snow chains (we had no issue with our SUV), dark walkway, no hot tub, cabin lighting could be better.
We will be back
