Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Excellent unit with easy access to all Del Mar attractions and the freeway to San Diego etc.
I stayed here because of two positive reviews. I don't understand how those two reviews were that positive.
The location was great. Close proximity to a number of nice sites (by car)
The agent I spoke to at Vacasa complaining about how terrible the property was great.
The experience was terrible.
The house is nice enough, and most of my complaints could be fixed if the owners/rental company spent some time at the facility:
The patio was strange and filthy. My favorite part was the exposed wires covered with a Child's toy. Yes, exposed wires + childrens toy. If I had kids, I would've left immediately.
Also, I know that bugs are everywhere, but piles of OLD dead wasps, beetles, and other critters that could be swept up in 10 seconds were everywhere.
The carpets were filthy, the second bathroom door doesn't close, the blinds were all broken and left broken upon our arrival.
There was food on the TV remote control and the walls were filthy. (Who comments on wall cleanliness? A guy that was sleeping next to one that had what looked like human boogers on them)
I legitimately feel like the housekeeper made the bed, used a napkin to wipe down the surface, then left.
Guess we should've done the same thing.
The property was nice & clean. The beds were comfortable. It suited our needs during our short stay. However, the small kitchen & layout would not be recommended for a large group that plans on doing alot of cooking. No oven & the patio area lacked amenities & seating options. A nice grill would compensate for the lack of cooking options. But, overall for us...it was a good stay! Close to beach, grocery shopping minutes away.
It's a nice small place .. Not really big enough for six adults but it was OK for my parents and myself . Very close to the expressways any ocean .The only problem I had was somebody stole my luggage out of my truck tonight we were leaving other than that it was a good time
