About Vacasa, CA - Lake Tahoe Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Lake Tahoe and family

  • 3 of 5

The home is a great size for multiple families or one huge family, plenty of room for all. It definitely feels like home. Having everyone at one home was great!

One negative is the stairs, so it's not little kid friendly. Another negative is that it is an older home with some serious settling and sloping floors.

Over all we had a great time.

Nice house to stay!!!

  • 5 of 5

Very spacious, clean and quiet cabin. 2 families of 8 had more than enough space for dining, playing or relaxing. The only one my suggestion to the management or owners: to buy one set a nice cookware and throw all that junk that they have in the cabin. Here is a suggestion:

Circulon Premier Professional Hard Anodized Nonstick 13-Piece Cookware Set

Thank you!!!

Wonderful place for families!

  • 5 of 5

We are a family of skiers with 3 kids. We stayed at this wonderful property with another family of 4 and it exceeded our expectations! The place was spacious, the kitchen well stocked, and we felt right at home. The downstairs was great for the kids to hang out (there's a foosball table) and bunkbeds in one of the rooms. The family room was spacious and comfortable for our group to play Mafia in the evenings. There is a private sauna room in the downstairs bathroom to relax in after a day of skiing. If you run out of groceries, Raley's is just a few short minutes away. Sierra-at-Tahoe was an easy drive and was where we skied during our trip. We've been traveling to Tahoe every year and have stayed at many different places and this place is a gem. We look forward to coming back.
