Nice get away

Close to stores and once you find it, easy to get in and out of. Marina is right down the road.

Nice, comfortable accommodations!

  • 5 of 5

Eagle Egg Cabin was perfect for our double birthday celebration/getaway! The cabin was clean with a nice little kitchen & dinette area. The bedrooms weren't huge, but were decent sized for this quite affordable cabin. The beds were comfortable & the bathrooms were spacious enough for getting ready to go to the river/lake, to go out, or just getting clean after being in lake water all day. We enjoyed using the grill & even used the fire pit twice - in the middle of Summer - because you have to have S'mores, ya know!? Also enjoyed sitting on the front porch with our coffee in the mornings. Only 'complaint' is that there is some construction going on, up on the main road, that you can hear when you're outside during the week days; however, there's good insulation so you cannot hear it when you're inside. We will definitely recommend this cabin to family & friends! And we hope to back for another visit soon! Thank you!

Loved it.

The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. There was construction close but didn't let that bother us. They are building a saloon. That will be lots of fun when it opens

Nice, cozy cabin with comfortable beds. Teeny, tiny second bathroom.

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed my stay here. My only word of caution about renting this cabin is the bathroom off of one of the bedrooms. The main bathroom is nice and big, with a Jacuzzi tub, but the one off of the bedroom is the smallest bathroom, outside of an RV, I have ever used. I had to turn sideways to be able to get to the shower stall. And the toilet had the smallest diameter of any toilet I have ever seen.

I want to stress, this is not a complaint, merely a word of caution. The cabin was nice and served us well for the few days we were in the area. I would rent it again.
