Nice cabin!

  • 4 of 5

Cabin was nice but not as secluded as we would like. The highway noise is a little loud but it is close to everything we wanted to do and see. Nice experience and would stay again. No wi-fi is a bummer!

It is not secluded as we thought. The bunk beds were in 3 rooms in 1 as the pictures show. Great 👍

The place was well kept everything worked. Some of the dishes were grease. The knifes were not very sharp glad I brought my own.

Check in was very easy as well as check out.

I brought my Girl Scout Troop and they had a great time. Room enough for everyone. Love the benches at the table.

We would go back .

Mediocre location and cabin is in need of updates, maintenance, etc.

  • 2 of 5

We managed to enjoy our stay, but this cabin did not measure up to our previous experiences in the Broken Bow area.

- Comfortable living room furniture and nice television.

- Lots of beds if you have a larger group.

- Nice wooden rocker on the front porch.

- Big fire pit in the back.

- Cabin advertised a gas fireplace, but it was not functional. Fireplace has an electric plug that doesn't reach any of the available electric outlets.

- DVD player does not have a remote control.

- Kitchen was poorly supplied. Examples: No cookie sheets. Two dispensers of salt, but no pepper. No matches or lighter anywhere to be found (making it difficult to light a fire in the outdoor fire pit). Plastic colander had a hole that a previous visitor had melted a hole through. No oven mitts. There were fewer cups than beds (if you want more than 5-6 people to be able to pour a drink, you will either need to use their nice stemmed glasses or coffee mugs).

- Kitchen cabinets/drawers not in great shape. Some of them don't quite close. Several drawers don't have handles/knobs and one nearly falls out if you open it more than halfway.

- Fan in the bathroom is extremely loud and it's on the same switch as the light (so you can't turn it off). Some in our group complained of headache after being in there to take a shower. And there's no light over the bathroom mirror.

- Walls were in bad shape in a few places. Holes in drywall, etc.

- Bedrooms had no doors on the closets. I think this was perhaps intentional so that the rooms would feel larger with the number of beds they held.

- Bedding on several beds was uncomfortable. If you have fewer people than beds though, you can take your pick of the more comfortable bedding.

- Cabin advertised no wifi, but there was obviously a signal. Password was not shared with us though, so we didn't get to use it. The wireless router was in one of the back bedrooms and had lights that flashed constantly, which makes for an interesting "night light" for those sleeping there.

- Last but not least, the cabin is close to the highway. Lots of road noise, and there's new construction going on in the small field between the cabin and the highway, so we had the pleasure of listening to construction all day long.

Nice spacious cabin in a beautiful area

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed a weekend stay including my husband and myself and our 3 grown children and their families. The cabin worked fine for that many people and it is located near the town of Hochatown where there are shops and restaurants and very near Beavers Bend Park.

Excellent stay

  • 5 of 5

We had 5 adults and 1 kid staying in this cabin. There was plenty of room and towels for everyone. We really liked the cover patio area since it did rain periodically while we were there. The kitchen was well stocked which was a big plus! I liked that they did not have a key and you pushed a code to unlock the door. It made easier that there was not a "key master" and we did not have to coordinate to meet at the house, you could just come and go.

There we ten people in our party and we were all impressed and very happy with our rental. It was well stocked, comfortable and very clean. We will definitely use it again when we go back.
