We are walking distance to fishing in the Yellowstone River. Imagine walking out the front door and seeing Emigrant Peak at 11,000 feet across the street and hundreds of stars overhead at night! Our vacation retreat is located in the town of Emigrant, MT in Paradise Valley, MT.

We are 55 minutes from the Bozeman-International Airport (BZN). We are a 30 minute, easy ride to the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park at Mammoth Hot Springs. The ride through Paradise Valley to Yellowstone National Park is amazing!

Hells A-Roarin Horse Drive in Gardiner, MT on the Saturday of Memorial weekend, is something to see!

We have spectacular mountain views and three acres of common ground. We are minutes away from Chico Hot Springs Resort and Day Spa where you can enjoy the hot springs pools, fine dining, and entertainment.

We are 25 minutes from Livingston with gourmet restaurants, community theater, a movie theater, art galleries and unique shops. John Banovich has a new art center (gallery) in Paradise Valley.

Come enjoy world-class trout fishing, big game hunting, skiing, horseback riding and river rafting on the Yellowstone River. Also, a great place if you live in Montana, Stay Vacation-Stay Close to Home Vacationing.

Things to Do: Inside of Yellowstone, between Mammoth Hot Springs and Gardiner, Montana, soak in the Boiling River (hot water from Mammoth) and the Gardiner River. This is a great hike and then a refreshing experience. Bring your water shoes to enjoy this activity.

Enjoy the Espresso Bar at Chico Hot Springs Resort Gift Shop and at the Wild Flour Bakery. The Old Saloon and Livery Stable are open 7 days a week here in Emigrant.

About Lisa Rudacil

Rudy and I live in Maryland. Rudy was a home inspector and licensed public insurance adjustor and I am a speech/language pathologist and retired after working for 35 years in the public schools. Rudy is originally from VA and I am originally from MI. We have both lived in 5 different states.

We love to travel, especially in the west, and enjoy visiting our grandsons in Oregon.

We are committed to providing a rental experience that serves our guests and makes their trip as comfortable as possible!

Lisa Rudacil purchased this townhome in 2005

Why Lisa Rudacil chose Yellowstone Country

Rudy and I spent 3 summers vacationing in Montana (Glacier National Park and in Yellowstone). On a trip to Yellowstone in 2005, we stayed at Chico Hot Springs Resort in Paradise Valley and watched as the townhouses, at Avalon Villas, were being built. We were so taken with the breath taking views, the wildlife and Emigrant, that we decided that we wanted to own our own small piece of Montana. Two months later we called the developer and asked her if any of the townhouses were available. There were two left. We chose an end unit, thinking that we would have more light and views of the Big Sky. This all took place while driving on the Washington, DC Beltway. When I turned to my husband to ask him if we he thought that we had made the right decision, he said, 'look out the window.' In the lane next to our vehicle, was a semi-truck from Billings, Montana. I guess that was our sign.

What makes this townhome unique

Breath taking views and well appointed accommodations. Winter time activities, cross country skiing and snow shoeing, (rent skis at Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park from mid Dec until Feb 26). Soak at Chico Hot Springs Resort. We are a great Four Season getaway!!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Absolutely Fantastic Townhome, Paradise Valley!

  • 5 of 5

Lisa and Rudy have quite the little place here! I drove from Kansas City, KS to Minden, NE to pick up my 82 year old mother. We then drove to Emigrant, MT to visit my uncle and his son. Wow, what a wonderful place! It is just as described, you will not be disappointed! Nice and clean, convenient, but most of all, not a hotel. My family was able to come see us in a homey, comfortable location close to them without having to always be either in a restaurant or crowded hotel room. We only had my mom and I, but this place can sleep 3 couples comfortably if someone is willing to sleep on a sofa sleeper. The 2nd bathroom was upstairs in the master, my mom and I never used the downstairs bathroom for showers, etc., but it's an option as an overflow if you have more people. There is also a washer/dryer if you are staying a while! Very convenient. The amenities that are provided are wonderful. We didn't utilize the items in the pantry, but they do have items there if needed. Also, we forgot butter at the store, well, saved, it was in the fridge!! All packaged in a quite beautiful little townhome, nice decorated as well. I don't think there was anything we needed that was not there!! We even grilled out for lunch one afternoon. It was beautiful there!

If you like HOT SPRINGS, Chico is literally about a mile away. We ate in their little diner, quite a fun little place to go. We also ate at the Old Saloon. Good food there as well and very close! The people at the little general store were so very kind as well. I didn't meet anyone there that wasn't just extremely nice! My cousin said the bakery was fantastic too! Yellowstone was beautiful, the falls, scenery gorgeous and we saw a lot of wildlife (many deer right there on the property as well.)

Lastly, Lisa was so nice!! I could not find the password to the internet (it was hidden under the instructions to the TV I later found), she was nice enough to call us to provide what we needed, plus gave us some great tips for dinner!! We enjoyed our stay in little Emigrant. Close enough to the park for convenience, but far enough away you never felt crowds!! We ventured to a little town west of the park (West Yellowstone?), it was GREAT for shopping! You've just got to rent this place. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Beautiful Townhouse

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay immensely. The townhome is spacious and we had everything we needed. We appreciated that the table was big enough for all of us to sit around for a family meal (as many rentals with enough beds still have small tables). It was quiet and perfect for visiting the Northern part of Yellowstone. The views in Montana are breathtaking.

Mountain relaxation!

  • 5 of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rudacil townhouse! The accommodations were beautiful, comfortable, and scenic - mountains from the back patio! Great places to eat and drink in Emigrant (Old Saloon, the Livery Stable, and WIldflour Bakery) or within a close commute to Livingston, and wonderful fishing from a variety of public accesses - or schedule a trip with Angler's West Fly Fishing Outfitters there in Emigrant. We really hated to leave!

Amazing View

  • 5 of 5

This town home was the perfect place for my family to relax after our days at Yellowstone. It is clean and has a lot of room. Lisa and Rudy have family games for you to play. They have a folder with flyers and menus from restaurants and things to do. They have taken care to make this town home seem like your home away from home. I definitely would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.
