The apartment is located on the ground floor and contains two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single, which can be converted into a double bed. The beds are of the highest quality! The living room has a sitting area, a dining area and a spacious kitchen corner. The sofa-bed can be used in exceptional cases, for a fifth person or for children who don't sleep in their parents' bedroom. Our terrace is accessible through the living room, where you can put your feet up for a quick break during the day, or in the evening with a newspaper and a spot of wine. We have everything you need to relax - from the TV with various German, English, and French programs over the internet to the bathtub with water massage. Air conditioning in summer and heating in winter: both of these options can be installed if you wish.
First-class accommodations make our holiday apartments the perfect point of departure for all your Roman explorations. This is no run-of-the-mill experience! The apartment is equipped with all modern comforts, offering amenities such as comfortable beds, flatscreen TV with German, English, and French programs, a well-equipped kitchen with a coffee machine and dishwasher, internet access, telephone, lovely bathroom and living room, a spacious sofa to relax and a dining table. The location is absolutely perfect: Everything is within walking distance, and public transportation and buses is available nearby to get around the city's streets. We are also very well-connected: The train will take you right from Fiumicino Airport to our doorstep, at the San Pietro Railway Station. If you desire additional comfort, we can organize a pick-up service. Travelling by car is also no problem. We can recommend several parking lots to you. Our guests' comfort is our top priority!
Good location in particular for Vatican City. Well equipped and cared for by Stefano, who is very nice. Based on a few other experiences it's a little weird to read the electric meter and pay by the kW (.35 per); but overall the value was fine. Bathroom/tub is a little tired. Kitchen well equipped and good fridge. Walkable to the main tourist areas of Rome, or an easy bus trip. Good dining options in the neighborhood and nearby Trastevere. No view of anything, but the terrace would be nice in the right weather.
This is the perfect location to stay if you plan on walking in Rome. The Vatican wall is just outside the apartment and St. Peter's Basilica is just around the corner. The apartment was large enough to fit my Family of five. Perfect for kids to hang out outside on the terrace, as well as adults to just sit and relax after a long day of walking. There is a parking lot just down the street to park your car for the stay. It will cost you about €14 per day. We got gelati every night before heading back to the room. It was really close to the apartment. There are also a couple of good restaurants just across the street. The owner was very nice and we truly enjoyed our stay here!
Great place near the Vatican. Roomy, well maintained and with a great terrace. Nice bakery downstairs and good restaurants near Vatican. Only a few minutes walk to St. Peters Square. In fact, we walked everywhere from here, including coliseum. Landlord Stefano was very helpful - met us and made sure we had a cab to the airport at the end of our trip.
Beautiful spot close to the St Peter's Cathedral, clean and tidy and lots of space. Perfect apartment, we were really happy with it (family of 4)
Domus Stefano is the perfect location for a break in Rome. Located a stone's throw from St Peter's Square and close to all the main attractions, it also benefits from good transport links into the city centre. The apartment itself is spacious and well maintained but the best thing about it, apart from location, is the patio. We had perfect weather and were able to enjoy breakfast on the patio before setting out and evening drinks after a hard day's sightseeing. Another bonus is the close proximity to a bakery and a deli. We ate in the local restaurants and would highly recommend the nearby Goose Restaurant for dinner. We would not hesitate to recommend Domus Stefano to anyone and should we return to Rome, we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else!
The Domus Stephano apartment is very nice, clean and well located. I stayed there with my family for 1 week in November and we really enjoyed the experience:
- location close to the Vatican which allows you to arrive early for the Pope's Audiences on Wednesdays;
- the apartment is very well equiped and the owner hospitality is perfect.
We will certainly stay again in this apartment in our next trip to Rome.
With our apartment, Rome is at your doorstep. Our two holiday apartments are just 500 metres from St. Peter's Square! You can get practically everywhere on foot: the Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, the Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, and if you're up for a walk, even the Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain, and the Colosseum! If you would rather travel in comfort, the bus stop is right around the corner, serviced by the various buses that go around the city, especially the 110 bus. Naturally, all possible public transit options are available, the bus stop is close by, and the San Pietro Railway Station is 500 m away (for example, for your arrival from Fiumicino Airport).
