Overview

About the property

2 Bedroom Property On The Water With French Quarter Style Open Courtyard

Historic Victoria Dr is a small road along the St Joseph Sound Inter Coastal with little traffic. Lined with large oak and palm trees and seating to enjoy the sunsets.

The Victoria Condominium is designed in a French Quarter style. The waterfront property features a beautifully landscaped courtyard with wrought iron seating, brick paving, gorgeous gardens and waterfalls, as well as a relaxing pool.

The Victoria is unique as it is a private 2 story, 26 unit "U" shaped, open air condominium. Each unit fronts the magnificent courtyard. Our unit is on the 2nd floor in the middle with a direct, unobstructed view of the sound and the spectacular sunsets.

Our unit is furnished as comfortably as our own home. As you can see by the photos taken in September, 2015, it is tastefully decorated and homey. We strive to make our unit our home away from home and hope our tenants appreciate that. The master bedroom contains a king size bed with a new topper and pillows, a comfortable chair for reading or just taking a nap. There is a private bathroom with a tub shower and full vanity. The closet is large and there is plenty of room in chests for all you bring.

The 2nd room has a queen bed with new bedding. There is a lot of storage space with a large closet and wardrobe. This room also provides a desk should you need somewhere to put your laptop. The 2nd bathroom also contains a tub shower with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

If you like to cook, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Appliances included are a dishwasher, refrigerator, freeze with ice maker and water dispenser and gas ranger and oven. I've tried to stock the kitchen with good knives, pots and pans and utensils. There is a toaster, coffee maker, tea pot and cuisinart.

Why Jackie Nave chose Florida Central West

When taking our son to college at USF in Tampa, Florida, we decided to take a few days to ourselves in Clearwater Beach. One day we took a drive up the coast and ventured into this amazing little town of Dunedin. We immediately fell in love with the tone of the town and the people that live there. We now know where we want to retire someday! We decided to look at some properties just to see what the real estate market was like in the area. The last property we looked at was the Victoria and felt at home instantly. Unprepared to do so, and completely on a whim, we made an offer and bought this property that day. Our only regret is that we can't enjoy it ourselves right now, however, it makes us happy that many previous tenants continue to come and love it just as much as we do.

What makes this condo unique

Unique benefits of this property are first and foremost the waterfront view of the birds, surprising dolphins and the best sunsets around. The tranquility of the beautiful gardens while enjoying my morning coffee is a favorite part of my day. You can walk to downtown and leave the car at home to enjoy all the festivals, wine and walk Fridays, shops, restaraunts and bars. The condominium provides a fitness workout room on the first floor for your convenience.

A view with a room

  • 5 of 5

Each morning we would start our day by sitting outside our door with a cup of coffee and just admire the waterfront view. The condo is clean and well stocked with linens, cookware, etc. The owner is always available by phone to answer any questions. The location is perfect, walking distance from downtown. We also enjoyed the occasional get together, with other tenants and owners, at the waterfront watching the beautiful sunsets.

A Perfect Combination

  • 5 of 5

Not sure I should write a review as we would like to keep this jewel all to ourselves but seeing as we have a month in 2017 all locked up, here it goes. Let's start with the owner, Jackie, as she is wonderful to deal with and very responsive to any questions. The condo complex is across from St. Joseph Sound. We spent many a night with the other owners and renters, from the complex, watching the sunset and sipping our wine. Many of those we met were returning renters, some for many years. I along with 8 others in the complex were having a birthday in April so we all got together and had a party in the courtyard, most of the complex attended. Other reviewers have talked about the amenities in the area and the condo, which are all outstanding, but the people we met from the complex and shared wine and laughs with was also a highlight for us. Our month was filled with trips to St. Pete., Tampa, Clearwater Beach and Tarpon Springs along with almost daily walks into town. There is an abundance of very good restaurants and local parks. We had a beautiful breeze every day so no problems with heat or humidity. We were sad to leave and look forward to returning. If you are lucky enough to rent this condo you won't be disappointed. Great accommodations, weather, people, activities, sites and food. What more could you ask for.

A Gem in Dunedin

  • 5 of 5

This condo is definitely a gem. My husband and I have stayed here twice and will continue to rent in the future. It is furnished beautifully and comfortably. It is well stocked with kitchen supplies and linens. Among our favorite features are the views from the living room, dining area and bedrooms, of the St Joseph Sound (especially at sunset). The landscaping and lighting of the courtyard are enhance the setting.

The owners are always responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Another important feature is the friendly people who stay at Victoria Condos. It is interesting to meet new people as well as previous renters from all parts of the US and Canada.

We were drawn to this area by the Pinellas Trail which is only a block away. Bike rides to Tarpon Springs or Clearwater provide beautiful sights and sounds of nature in Florida. It is close enough to town for walking to restaurants and shops. We especially like the Hog Island Fish Camp and The Living Room, but I could recommend many others. We find that there is so much to do in Dunedin that we don't have to drive our car very often.

Family and friends who visited did not want to leave. We would highly recommend this condo to others.

A superb apartment in an outstanding location!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is situated in a small block right beside a glorious view across St Joseph's Sound, Dunedin. It could not be better placed. There are easy walks along the waterfront into the town centre, with its many restaurants and local shops. For cyclists there are miles of superb tracks and paths to keep one busy all day long. For sailors and watersports enthusiasts there are so many activities to enjoy.

Victoria condos is a two level block of just 24 apartments with views straight to the waterfront. The trees and shrubs surrounding all add to the peace and tranquility of a delightful vacation.

The apartment itself is spacious and very well appointed. All rooms are very comfortable and well furnished. The two bedrooms are of very good size, well presented and very comfortable. The bathrooms and showers are just right. All the soft furnishings have been recently replaced and everywhere is clean and very presentable. The kitchen has been re-stocked with more than enough utensils, cookware and china. In short it is a delightful apartment and it makes for an excellent vacation.

The owner, Jackie, is very responsive to any enquiry and has been very helpful. This is my third time staying in Victoria condos and I would thoroughly recommend this apartment for your stay in Dunedin. You will have a great vacation!

Dunedin is home to the Toronta Blue Jays training camp and just minutes away from the Philadelphia Phillies training stadium. Victoria Condominium is located 3 blocks from downtown Dunedin. Main Street avails you to the marina, many, many restraurants and bars, multiple parks and the famous 47 mile Pinellas Trail. This trail spans through Dunedin, Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs. This is a pedestrian trail to enjoy biking, skating, running or just walking and enjoying the view.

Should you want to explore the coast, leave your car at home and take the Jolly Trolley Friday through Sunday from Clearwater Beach to Tarpon Springs. There are many antique and thrift stores along the way, as well as great shopping, restraurants and bars. Dunedin is know for it's many Breweries as well.

Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island state parks, boasted as on of the world's best beaches, are only a few miles drive or bike ride away. A ferry ride will take you from Honeymon Island to Caladesi Island, there is a dog beach, a nature preserve and a place to relax for lunch. This beach has some of the whitest sand I have ever seen.

The Saint Joseph Sound can provide you with a place to fish from the pier, canoe, kayak or sail off on your jet skis.
