This popular place includes a separate game house with pool table, foosball, darts, 3 bunk beds, HDTV with Dish Hopper 3, full bath, air-conditioning and heating. The private game house is a great remote hideaway for the kids to have their own fun during the day or overnight. You will have sole use of the boathouse with 2 electric boat/jet ski lifts, sun deck with nighttime accent lighting, swim ladder, plus pier. A boat rental, marina, public boat ramp, and a waterfront cafe are within walking distance of this lake house. The barbecue area has a mobile charcoal grill/smoker, picnic table, horseshoes, hammock, birdhouse, sitting swing, plus campfire area good for an evening family bonfire or a hot dog and s’mores roast. The lawn between the main home and the lake is ideal for games such as volleyball, badminton, croquet, etc. Bring along your favorite yard game. The sitting swing, which faces the water, is perfect for conversation and reflection. Free Wi-Fi.

You will be able to witness the breathtaking sunset, which falls upon the far side of the lake, while you are on this waterfront's large deck of the main home. Wonderful Week

  • 5 of 5

My family and I spent five wonderful days at this home on Lake Livingston. The layout of the home with it's large bedrooms and expansive deck; the game house which provided the kids some privacy and non-water fun; the large grill for each of our evening cookouts; and the wonderful dock for swimming, fishing and tying up the jet skis fit our needs perfectly. Prior to vacationing there, the owner was very responsive to my numerous inquiries. The homes and property were very clean and towels, linens, cooking utencils, etc were abundant. The small grocery/restaurant a short walk away was convenient for our last minute needs. The sunset alone is reason for us to visit again next year.

Great summertime property with large lot.

  • 5 of 5

This was a great property for kids and pets. Large lot with plenty of space to run. Would be great for summer activities. Great dock and fire pit. Beds comfortable and people were easy to work with. Small kitchen was hard to maneuver but well stocked with utensils. It was unseasonably cold so we had to stay inside. Summer would be better so we could spread out at dinner time. Kids loved having their own space in the game room. Caretakers were responsive to all requests and even brought us firewood for fire pit. Good communication with booking agent.

Amazing outside - Inside needs an upgrade

  • 3 of 5

Our family had an amazing time, and the view, location and outside amenities make the property. I thought it would be most helpful to provide a pros and cons review so you can decide what is most important to you. Pros: caretakers on site were very helpful and responsive, view, fenced property, deck was great, outside was clean and well maintained, boathouse and dock were well maintained, lighted, jet ski lift worked excellent. We brought our kayaks and we used the lift to bring them in and out of water; fire pit, charcoal grill; proximity to the restaurant down the street, decent fishing, quiet neighborhood which is great for walking. Close to Walmart and HEB. Plenty of dishes, and glasses. Frig was adequate for a couple days of food. We kept our drinks in a separate cooler to provide more space for food. George was very responsive to your needs. Cons: the entire interior including the separate gamehouse needs an upgrade, I felt like the bathrooms were as clean as possible but all of them are old so they didn’t seem clean, especially the upstairs bath. Couch was uncomfortable, kitchen is super small. We found it was easiest to plan meals for the grill and use the stove as little as possible. The electric trash can was super annoying. I would replace with a manual. The gamehouse is separate so keep that in mind. If you have a fair amount of young children, you or they may not want to sleep separate from the main house. Also, they will be alone with a pool table. We ended up with everyone cramming into the main house., The house has locks but you don’t receive a key, so if you leave, you can’t lock the property. The bed in the downstairs master is so high a step stool is provided to get in and out. You will receive multiple Instructional emails prior to your arrival. I would have preferred one less extensive email or place all info in the HomeAway app.

Like I said at the beginning we had a great time, despite the condition of the house and the other cons. For our family I would have booked a different location. The inside and outside matter to us because we have a wide age range and varied interests. If you plan to spend the majority of your time outside and don’t care about cooking inside, and look of the house then my cons will not matter to you.

Beautiful and relaxing

  • 4 of 5

The sunsets were incredible!! The property is quite large so the view of the lake is excellent from several vantage points. There is a great dining table on the patio to view the lake and enjoy the weather. Nice fire ring with plenty of seating. The dock is fun to relax on. The rooms are even nicer than the pictures and there is quite a bit of storage space. The caretaker and the neighbors are friendly, and there is a really nice restaurant 2 minutes walk away. We got lucky and had great weather, but it rained the first night and the clay mud is wicked. Bring flip flops or easy on/off shoes if you plan to walk the property much.

For planning purposes, the living room and indoor dining area are each designed for 6 people comfortably. The outdoor dining table provides extra seating.

Clean and nicely taken care of right on the water...relaxing!

  • 4 of 5

The house was big enough for my whole family, although only two of us were there this weekend. It is right on the water with a double-deck pier and a swing on the top deck. The sun sets were amazing. The on site caretaker was there to greet us and give us a tour of the property. The house was close enough to one of the restaurants to walk for a meal and the food was great!
