About Owner/Property Manager
We have rented on Manasota Key for the last 20 years before buying. It truly is a wonderful place for couples to families. We have lived in the surrounding area for 50 years raising our children and grandchildren in the area.
Owner/Property Manager purchased this Condo in 2000
Why Owner/Property Manager chose Englewood
We have always been beach people and this area is exactly what Sarasota was 30 years ago. The surrounding area is peaceful and offers total relaxation if you choose or there is plenty of action from boating to fishing to live entertainment at the circle
What makes this Condo unique
I have always enjoyed access to the beach and when we bought our prerequisites were beach access, fishing from a dock to having a pool and tennis courts. This was the perfect property for us.

Great beach for walking and beautiful sunsets
This was our first visit to Englewood Beach and we loved it. This area still has the old Florida feel - no high-rise buildings, a great beach, good restaurants near by, friendly people, and not too busy in December.
This condo was in good condition and was easy to live in for the month. Both bedrooms have TV's and were decent sized. The dining / living area is open with nice furniture. The screened in porch made a perfect area for coffee in the morning. Plenty of beach toys and chairs were in the storage room off of the porch. The porch has palms and tropical foliage outside, but only a view of the other building and common area.
The 2nd floor location was accessed by stairs or an elevator. There is a tennis court outside of the unit. You have a short walk across the road and through a parking lot (for the other 3 condo buildings) to get to the beach. Very convenient. It was not difficult to take the umbrella and beach chairs and set up. The beach is very nice with lots of shells that wash up. You can walk the beach to the south for several miles (to Stump Pass). You can only walk north about 1/4 mile if the tide is higher. We walked down to the englewood public beach for yoga several mornings - about a 3/4 mile walk. Also it is only a 3/4 mile walk to several restaurants, and the convenience store. There is a great fish market close by where we picked up fresh shrimp and stone crabs for dinner.
Almost every evening we went to the beach for happy hour and watched the sunset. There are benches and a table you can sit on and enjoy your drink and the sunset. This was one of our favorite things to do, there were always friendly people around and the sunsets were the best!
While there we saw dolphins almost every day, and a manatee once. Several people did surf fishing and seemed to do OK. Lots of shore birds, egrets and pelicans. There was a gopher tortoise next to the beach access area and he came out several times. Found some sharks teeth, lots of shells, went kayaking (they rent at Stump Pass Park), did charter fishing (which was great!), ate at several restaurants and throughly enjoyed ourselves.
Thank you for the very nice review of both our condo and the surrounding area. It was a pleasure having you. Thank you for the cleanliness of the condo. Hope you return next year. Debby & Alan
