About this property

The renewed Hotel Playa Samara has never been better. This long established hotel in Samara is less than 100 meters from the beach at the end of the football field and a great place to stay when in Samara. Very well priced with rooms for up to five people.

Hotel Playa Samara has new ownership and with that the hotel is new from top to bottom. All the rooms have been remodeled with new walls, ceilings, electrical and water system. Each room features new beds and sheets, ceiling fans, lighting, window screens, remodeled bathrooms, cold running water and local art work.

I've been coming to Costa Rica since 1992. When I decided to retire, I knew I would move here first. After looking at many different places, I discovered the magic of Samara, and decided this would be home. I saw this run down, neglected property, and decided to take on the challenge of restoring it to its previous beauty. It has been two and a half years of creation, and now the traditional Costa Rican experience has been revived, and is ready for you!
