We had such a wonderful experience!! Condo was beautiful-comfortable beds and furniture-and that steam shower in the master was blissful. The amenities were also great-we have 2 kids ages 4&5. The indoor pool was a huge hit as well as the bowling alley. We will definitely be coming back to stay!!
Amazing Location, Wonderful Condo
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo! You cannot ask for a better location. Right at the base of Peak 8 and steps away from ski school and several lifts. It was so nice to be able to relax after a day on the slopes down at TBar and not worry about having to get on the gondola before it closes then going back up to your room and watching the resort close down, the cats start to groom and how everything quiets down. It was also so convenient to just walk down to ski school and drop off your children for lessons and then hop on a lift and start your day. The amenities were wonderful as well. We used the bowling alley one afternoon and the kids loved it. This was our first time staying in a ski in/ski out and we will definitely be staying here again.
This room is right in front of ski school and the jump area, so it is a perfect location. We are amazed by the view and decor. Upgrades for sure. We have stayed her 3 years in a row. Best place yet!!
Lovely, comfortable condo!
We really enjoyed our stay. The finishes were wonderful and the location on the property was great. We were a family of 5 and a friend (2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 grade schoolers) and it was plenty of room for us each day. Had a few morning breakfasts in the condo and then we were typically gone all day. Room service was amazing! It was expensive but worth it on the rainy night. Property amenities wonderful for kids and teens to have a bit of freedom. Definitely would stay again. Thank you!
Average accommodations at premium rate
We were very much looking forward to our stay in a 3-bedroom unit at One Ski Hill Place. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I detected several oversights: the fireplace did not work, the refrigerator ice maker didn't work, a bathroom toilet seat was looser than any truck stop toilet that I can recall (hardly what you'd expect at these rates...), none of the clocks were set throughout the condo (including kitchen appliances), there was a single skinny cabinet that acted as a pantry (I spent 20 minutes relocating dozens of champagne/wine glasses to a bedroom wardrobe unit in order to make room for pantry items in the kitchen), and, remarkably, there was no coffee maker - only a Keurig unit with three artificially flavored coffee pods...
The management company, Pinnacle Lodging (on Main. St. in Breckenridge) was disappointing. Instead of acknowledging the many problems we encountered upon arrival (after numerous phone calls/emails), my contact, Dustin, only continued to send boilerplate notices through the Visit Breck app on my phone. Another rep at the front desk seemed indifferent toward my issues saying only that a maintenance rep would be there "sometime today." On the second day of our stay, a coffee maker arrived in my absence, which I appreciated. Based on the limited communication with Pinnacle, I assumed that I would be driving into Frisco to buy one myself...
Pinnacle did send three different maintenance reps on six different occasions over three days to diagnose the problem/repair the fireplace. My issue with that, however, is that three of visits were unannounced. Twice I arrived back at my unit to find a repairman with a ladder, blanket, and tools spread about and another time the repairman just showed up at my door carrying a ladder and tools asking, "Is now a good time?" One of the reps mentioned to me that "We manage 15 other units in this building and this is the only (fireplace) unit we have this problem with constantly." We were only there four days - and dealt with this issue on three of them. Needless to say, we were not able to enjoy an evening fire during any night of out stay (although the fireplace is prominently featured in condo photos of the family room and master bedroom).
Bottom line: I expect for everything to work in a $109 per night roadside motel - and more often than not, everything does work. And when I'm spending thousands on accommodations, I certainly expect for everything to be in working order. That wasn't my experience.
Thank you for taking the time to review the property. We are sorry for the items that were not up to standards in the unit as we do pride ourselves on having everything in working order. Breckenridge did have a brief power outage which reset all of the clocks prior to your arrival, as does sometimes briefly happen in the mountains. A technician did come up to troubleshoot the ice maker and he reported that it was making and dispensing ice when he arrived. Unfortunately, the blower on the fireplace did go out. Though, we did order a new part in order to rectify it going forward. We do appreciate your comments and thoughts and hope to see you again.
