Truly paradise in Provence!

  • 5 of 5

What an incredible spot! I stayed at Provence Paradise (La Tuileries) with 9 of my family members, ages 1-68 & we all loved it! William is a superb host. He greeted us with drinks, a cheese platter, a fridge stock with basics, a delicious dinner for the first night and a thoughtful tour of the property. I was hooked! The kids (and adults!) enjoyed the pool/hot tub and meeting new people staying in the other houses. It was an added bonus to have built in playmates after a long day of sightseeing! William graciously suggested day trips and restaurant reservations. He called ahead to book our excursions and even personally led us to one of our "out of the way" dinner spots, so we wouldn't get lost. Now that's above and beyond! The house itself is wonderful- everything you think should be in Provence. My favorite spot is sitting by the gorgeous outdoor dining table, enjoying the daily croissants that William dropped off! I spent my whole vacation looking forward to coming back and imagining all the people I would bring. It was a place where I really felt relaxed and on vacation. C'est magnifique!

I first found Provence Paradis on VRBO for an adult group trip in 2010. For this first trip, our group of 10 stayed in Le Moulin, La Tour & a small hideaway room. Each member of our group fell totally in love with Provence Paradis. Everything was so incredible, that my husband & I returned with one of the couples in 2012, staying in Le Moulin. Again, this hamlet was truly a "Paradise."

But our most amazing trip was this June, 2014. We stayed in La Tuilerie with our two sons & their wives for two weeks. Because this was our third time to stay here, I felt like William & his amazing staff were like family. From the delicious meal awaiting us, to all the "extras" William provided, we never wanted to leave. The gardens, pool & spa are so enticing that you must include time in your stay to just relax & breathe in the smells of Provence.

We took many day trips recommended by William - Isle sur la Sorgue, La Vaucluse, Arles, Avignon, Chateau Neuf du Pape & so many more. William is an expert on all these sites, & we just had to mention that "William sent us" & everyone treated us like royalty.

William IS Provence Paradis. His heart knows no bounds in meeting each guest's requests. He is so intuitive of his guests, that he anticipates their desires before they can. His dedication to adhering to the history & culture of this region is nothing short of a true "labor of love." Each of the houses are exemplary of French provincial architecture & decor. While staying in these houses, we get to "live" history.

One of our most enjoyable activities was a personal chef day arranged by William. After discussing what we wanted to have for lunch, Maria (the chef) took us to the market in St. Remy where we bought all the fresh ingredients necessary. We then returned to La Tuilerie where we prepared our own lunch under the tutelage of this marvelous chef. Our gourmet lunch was perfect! William & a neighbor in the hamlet joined us for an unforgettable experience.

We will continue to vacation in "Paradise" with William for many years to come.

Delightful apartment, charmingly furnished, comfortable and convenitent. An 18 minute walk into the village. The staff tries to anticipate your every need without intruding on your privacy. We have stayed here twice and count the days until we return. William, the owner, speaks 5 languages and is a built in concierge with info on places to visit, restaurants to try, roads to travel and local history. When you arrive, dinner in in the refrig., just pop it in the oven, open the wine and enjoy! There is also food for breakfast. We have traveled all over the world and used many apartments and Provence Paradise is THE BEST...

Amazing week at Provence Paradise

  • 5 of 5

We stay at Saint Remy for one week at the beginning of September , 6 adults and 3 young kids.

We found Provence paradise at the Internet, and decide to go there based on the great review on this site .

Although we read about the place - how nice it is and the great hospitality, all of us were amazed from the beautiful house (Le Tuilerie) and

we didn't expect such a worm hospitality. The fridge was packed with delicious food , which William made for us .

William share his knowledge about the area , and was willing to help us in any problem.

The place is equipped with absolutely everything one can need for a great vocation, and it was well organized for our babies.

The week pass so quickly and all of us wish to go buck once again to Provence paradise.

Five Star all the way

  • 5 of 5

9 of us rented this property for a week in September and we all had the time of our lives. The property was so well equiped, William our host has thought of everything. The entire house was spotless and every detail was perfect from the wonderful dinner waiting for us in the 'frig the day we arrived to the fresh croissaints delivered most mornings. I especially enjoyed the kitchen and dining rooms with their Provencal decor, .heirloom china and glassware. Large candelabras were on the table, and the lights were on dimmers to add to the ambiance. The bedrooms were spacious and with the thick stone walls it was quiet and comfortable with all of us in the house. William couldn't be more helpful. One of our guests had a medical situation and William drove him to the local hospital, we had a guest get lost, William was the local "search party" He couldn't do enough for us and always with a positive attitude.

I have rental property in Colorado and am familiar with being an "Innkeeper", William surpassed our expectations, it's truly a labor of love for him. We all hope to go back next year.

Fabulous, Beautiful, Don't hesitate to come

  • 5 of 5

My 3 weeks in the Le Tuileries "mas" was a Provencal Paradise. We were 3 generationsm with the number varying between 8 -13 people, ages 13 to 77. Kristi, 22 yrs, went from room to room shouting "I love it". Dinner was waiting in the fridge for the first night and William brought croissants many mornings. He was so helpful: a SIM card for my phone, computer connections, ideas for the days activities, direction, best parking spots, lunch or dinner reservations, if we wanted. Many guide books were around the house. The kitchen was VERY well equipped and all we needed was the days' food. He arranged an all day wine tasting tour and chef to prepare & serve a special dinner for us. Now and then he brought the local rose wine to the pool where we got to meet the other guests. I want to return as had other guests we met.

Owner's Response: I think we had just as great a time with Suzie and her family as they did with us! Lots of curiosity about our PROVENCE PARADISE project, about things going on around here.... and there are lots! A real pleasure to "host" this family group from America!

About Stéphanie MOORE

In 2017, we will be celebrating 12 years of international guest satisfaction and 12 years of solid relationships with local service providers, who allow us to offer top-notch recommendations--- for restaurants, adventure, and relaxation.

Stéphanie MOORE purchased this farmhouse in 2005

Why Stéphanie MOORE chose Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

Sunshine, long season for outdoor life, very friendly people, historical attraction of the region and of our specific site, proximity to the centre of Saint Rémy de Provence, the advantage of being in the geographical centre of a region with so many attractions as those offered by Provence,... and most certainly, the challenge: first of the restoration project and now of high-quality innkeeping!

What makes this farmhouse unique

We speak lots of languages, know the local customs and understand our clients' expectations. The combination of these three factors can be very powerful!

Inn-keeping at PROVENCE PARADISE is a pleasure. Showing our guests 'where it all came from…starting with Roman ruins,… and how it all got taken down and put back together...' is a source of great pride to our entire PROVENCE PARADISE Team. If you have some/lots of spare time, ask us to show you the photos and tell you our tales! There is a story under almost every rock

Guestbook comments from the owner

What can we say from our PROVENCE PARADISE end??? These are great people, with Katie's super organization, folks moved in and out for 4- and 5-day stays. The Mills helped us to get to know their family and friends. It was a real pleasure to host and help all of them. That Finn...what a kid. We want him back here...with Mom and Dad, plus all future brothers and sisters!

The beaches of Les-Saintes-Marie-de-la-Mer and Cassis are less than an hour away by car, For Greco-Roman ruins, we have some of the finest, The Glanum site is about 10 minutes away, The amphitheatre and arenas of Arles (Roman capital of the entire region) only 30 minutes away, plus you have Les Beaux, Avignon and Orange for museums, architecture, and interesting, quaint streets, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue for antiques, plus all of the seasonal nightlife of St Remy itself. On a Wednesday, the village comes to life as the weekly market rools into town. There is a great atmosphere which descents on our old town centre. There are excellent bargains to be found, both to stock the shelves of your house at PROVENCE PARADISE, as well as to take home for those you left behind to water the plants and to walk the dog! Saint Rémy has something for everyone! Popular day-trips from our 'hamlet' include Arles with its Roman ruins, Avignon and the Papal Palace, the Luberon, the beaches of the Mediterranean.
