This fully appointed, 1503 square feet unit features a large master bedroom suite with king-size bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds, large closet and separate entrance to bathroom.There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room for additional sleeping space. Flat screen TV's in each of the bedrooms and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and everything needed for dining in or entertaining. The dining table seats six. While watching the dolphins play, enjoy morning coffee or dine alfresco on the large balcony from the patio table which seats four. This unit also features a washer and dryer, stereo with CD, WiFi, and many other amenities for your convenience.
Beachplace is a Gulf front gated community comprised of over 30 acres of pristine tropical landscaping. Conveniently located on the southern end of Longboat Key, you are just minutes from St. Armand's Circle and downtown Sarasota. Some of the resort-style amenities Beachplace has to offer: 24-hour security, tennis courts, Olympic size heated pool with lap lanes, heated kiddie pool, spa, barbecue grilling areas, stocked fish pond, renovated clubhouse and fitness rooms with sauna. Beach chairs, lounges, and umbrellas are all provided for residents on the private white sand beach. Let the sound of the Gulf lull you to sleep each night. Relax, unwind, and simply enjoy!

The most beautiful views imaginable! Meals on the balcony, dolphins daily, breathtaking sunsets!
The condo was just as pictured. Master bedroom had a beautiful view, the king bed was so comfortable. The kitchen was a tiny bit small and a little old fashioned, but who cooked?? There were too many great restaurants to try! I’d go there again in a heartbeat.
Relax...just steps from the beach
Firstly, Beachplace is well maintained, with 24-hour security, and is located just a short drive from St. Armand's Circle. It has 11 buildings and sits on the lovely Longboat Key beach. There is also a very good pool and kiddy-pool located at the community centre, with BBQs for use by all. There are also very well kept tennis courts. Since you rent condos belonging to different people, the condition of the condos may very well vary.
The unit we rented was on the 2nd floor of one of only two buildings facing and located at beach side, with large sliding doors providing good views. So, you can have breakfast and lunch on the balcony looking directly at the Gulf. The balcony furniture was in very good condition.
The unit was a 2-bedroom. It was clean. The master suite, with its own bathroom and clothes closet, with shower, was spacious, as is the bedroom itself. The large king bed and huge pillow inventory were very comfortable. The air-conditioning was a bit challenged for our liking, but there was a floor fan in the room.
The guest bedroom is at the front of the condo and is a good size, with direct access to the 2nd bathroom, which also serves as a bathroom for all other guests.
The living room and dining room are good sizes with nice sea-side style furniture and decor. There are good quality flat-screen televisions in both bedrooms and in the living room with xFinity access. There are enough routers to provide good internet access.
The kitchen is functional but a little aged and could benefit from renovations. The fridge and washer-dryer units seem quite new. The dishwasher worked well. You won't run out of dishes or glasses...even if you tried.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. We did have a few issues, but the owners were very responsive. Unfortunately, they were renovating the building lobby throughout our entire month, which meant limited elevator access during work days. You may want to inquire as to whether any projects are planned for the time frame of your visit.

Home away home
My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks and would loved to have stayed several more. The pictures on VRBO show exactely the right impression of the condo, but still doesn't do the condo justice. It is much more beautiful. Everything was decorated in a nautical, beachy theme. Amenities are also way above expectations. The kitchen is supplied with every item one could need for preparing any meal. The storage room has plenty of beach and pool supplies. Washer and dryer is also a plus.
From the balcony you have a unique view of the sea. In the morning you can see the dolphins swimming along while sitting at breakfast and in the evening you can watch the sunset with a glass of wine. The beach was beautiful as well and best of all, just out the back door and you are there. The beach is only for local residents and there are deck chairs and sun umbrellas available. The bathroom and kitchen in the condo were large and if I had to mention a little point of criticism, then maybe the cabinet doors could eventually be replaced. But nevertheless we have stayed in many different home/condos on Longboat Key, but this was by far our favorite!
This area in general has so much to offer. There's a publix/CVS less than 4 miles away and St. Armand's Circle is less than 10 minutes away. You can ride a bike, walk, swim and play golf, which is our main hobby.
Thanks to the owner Kim and Jon, who always answered any questions immediately. For over 20 years we spend our vacation on Longboat Key and I am already looking forward to next year and to my favorite apartement.
THE PROPERTY WAS EXCELLENT
OUR FIRST IMPRESSION WHEN WALKING IN WAS OUTSTANDING, VERY CLEAN, NEW FURNITURE AND COMFORTABLE. THE OWNERS PROVIDED JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING FOR EXAMPLE ( BAND AIDS, NEOSOPORENE, ALL YOUR KITCHEN NEEDS, ETC THEY THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING). WE HAD RENTED A UNIT IN BLDG. 8 LAST YEAR AND IT WAS VERY, VERY TIRED AND DISAPPOINTING. THE OWNERS OF 784678 WERE A DELIGHT TO WORK WITH. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS UNIT. THE LAZY LOBSTER WAS OUR FAVORITE AND A TRIP TO ANNAMARIE ISLAND. OUR FAMILY RENTED BICYCLES AND WENT ALL OVER THE ISLAND. WE GIVE IT A 10 +..........................
