With exposed pine ceilings, stone accents, and a rustic wood stove, the grand living space is full of mountain atmosphere. Curl up with a good book on the large sectional sofa, or turn on a DVD or VHS favorite on the TV.

And don't worry about the lack of cell phone service here. This home has WiFi, a trusty landline, and a private washer and dryer for additional convenience.

A maximum of 10 guests will sleep comfortably at the Valley View Estate, as well as one dog for a small additional fee. The four bedrooms feature one king-size bed, three queen beds, three twin beds, and two sets of twin-over-full bunk beds. You'll find three-and-a-half bathrooms, as well as a bit of extra privacy in the top floor apartment suite.

No matter if you're planning a summer reunion or a winter sports getaway with friends, guests at the Valley View Estate will find the best of North Lake Tahoe at their fingertips. The renowned Kings Beach is just 23 miles away, while the family-friendly Tahoe Donner Ski Area is only 20 miles west.

About Vacasa of Lake Tahoe

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Great family getaway home

 • 4 of 5

My family had a great time at this house.

The space is large and lots to do around the property. Lots to explore. It felt like a home away from home. Super neat game room downstairs. Has everything you’ll need minus condiments.

I would definitely stay here again.

Good for big groups who want to stay in

 • 4 of 5

Good for big groups who want to stay in. Driving to town or anywhere else is a little out of the way. But the cabin is cozy. Kitchen is huge. Lots of space :)

Spacious home in need of a few updates

 • 3 of 5

Space wise, this home is great for a large group. It has three levels with multiple beds and at least one bathroom on each. Each level also has its own "kitchen", although the kitchen on the main level is really the only fully functional one (this wasn't an issue though). As the pictures show, the home could use some updating, but we knew that going in. It could also be better equipped for a large group with new, large pots/pans, more dinning room seating and better outdoor furnishings. Also, the hot water is limited so only a few people could shower at a time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially the game room and surrounding property.

Spacious home in need of updating

 • 3 of 5

Our stay did not get off to a great start as the home had not been cleaned upon our arrival. A lady arrived at the same time we did to inspect it and was extremely kind and apologetic and contacted the cleaning crew immediately. We returned 2.5 hours later and everything was in good order. The layout of the house is great for a large group in that there are three levels so each of our three families could have a floor and bathroom of their own. However, as the pictures show, the home is dated and could use some renovations. Kitchen appliances were in good shape but cookware was lacking (only a few large pots/pans and serving dishes) which made it hard to cook for a large group. New cookware, patio furniture, and a better BBQ grill would have been great. Also, the hot water runs out quickly so only a few people could shower at a time. Location is fairly remote, which we enjoyed but may be an issue if you want to be close to activities or stores.

Perfect getaway

 • 5 of 5

If you like quiet and solitude this house is paradise! We had a group of 8 old college buddies reuniting for a week in August. The house is large with plenty of room for all of us and the inside is spectacular. The location is remote so don't expect night life to be close, but Truckee is 15 miles or so away and can provide everything you might need the house cannot. I love this place and would recommend it highly!
