Worked out great for our visit with my two grandchildren. Loved the yard with the swingset
Would stay again
This property far exceeds any expectations. The guest house is beautiful inside and out, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the area. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, and there is plenty of space to spread out. The location is gorgeous on Whatcom Lake, You would definitely need a car to get to the grocery store, but there is so much to see and do in Bellingham you would want a vehicle to get around. We met Chet, one of the owners, the last night we were there, and he couldn’t have been nicer. Communication and check-in were a breeze. If you’re thinking about renting this location, just do it, you will never regret staying in this lovely guest house.
Fabulous home away from home
We really enjoyed our short stay at this cottage. It was so nice to have a "home" to come back to for relaxing and hanging out. The cottage is very nicely decorated and has all you need to enjoy your stay.
A Quiet, clean and lovely place on the lake
Our family enjoyed a few days staycation as we were having work done to our home just a few miles away.
We found the space, clean, cozy and had everything we needed to feel at home out on the lake. Lynette was so attentive and we had a great time
Thank you Jami :) It was a pleasure to host your family at our guest house!
We wanted this experience to be more. On our second night a big party showed up where they were all staring at our rental and we couldn't open the blinds or doors/windows. We also were not informed that it was going to happen. It felt very rude and not neighborly. We did get refunded the cost of one night after complaining but felt like there were lots of excuses and wasn't fun sharing a property with someone you had just complained to. We didn't get the warm host vibe that other reviewers wrote about. I hate writing a bad review but we just didn't really feel welcome on the property.
Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing
I rented for the weekend to attend my son's wedding. Weddings are a bit hectic and can be stressful. Returning to this house each day, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere made it possible to relax with a cup of tea before climbing into an amazingly comfortable bed for a good night sleep. I would definitely stay there again.
