2 BR 2 Bath At Times Square With Pool, Only 359' to the first edge of the sand !

Our property is a 4 unit complex, each with 2 bedrooms (1 master bed, and 1 with two twin beds), 2 baths, and a top quality sofa bed in the living area that sleeps 2. You'll have wireless high speed internet and DirectTV. The living area boasts a 55" flat screen TV, while each master bedroom has a 32" TV for your convenience.

We added a heated 12' x 24' in-ground pool in the backyard in late 2015. It's fenced in with a tan colored 6' vinyl fence for your privacy. A top quality built-in stainless steel grill has been added to enhance your pool entertaining experience. The pool area is shared by all 4 units, but it's large enough for two or more units to share at the same time. Access is a walkway of pavers on the right side of the building.

Every piece of furniture has been replaced in 2015 in all of the units. The upstairs units boast a red/yellow sun theme, while the bottom units are more of a coastal blue/green theme. The layout of each unit is exactly the same. Each have a 10 x 12 lanai facing the street. The upstairs units offer a little better view of the street and glimpses of the beach.

A stackable washer / dryer is in each unit. While there is no dishwasher, there is a Keurig (1.0) coffee pot in each kitchen, so bring your favorite K-cup.

Rental rates in this listing are for the second floor units. The first floor units are typically $100 per week cheaper than the second floor. Rates do not include a cleaning fee of $160, a property protection fee of $99 and taxes.

We live in Western Pennsylvania, north of Pittsburgh. I'm a retired physician assistant of 34 years and my wife is a registered nurse. We own and operate a road race management company which provides chip timing services to over 300 running events per year.

We own multiple rental properties in our hometown, and this is our first venture outside our direct control. It's been fun updating this property with new furniture and a new pool. As Pennsylvanians, we see one of the largest pools on earth across the street, but they tell us "you gotta have a pool". And so "you have it"

LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION

Ft Myers Beach is a 7.5 mile long and skinny island on Florida's Gulf Coast. It's accessible by two bridges. One is on the south end that connects the island to Lover's Key and points south. The other is on the North End via San Carlos Blvd.

The main thoroughfare through the island is Estero Blvd. Traffic through the middle of the island can be a nightmare during the peak season of Jan/Feb/Mar. A major road construction project is underway through the majority of the mid-island which will make travel through the island even worse. The project is expected to take up to 10 years (starting in 2015).

The same road construction project on the North End is finished adding beauty and efficiency in water drainage. Travel on the North End is not a short-cut or a passage way to anywhere. It's only used by those who live or are staying on the North End, thus making traffic near non-existent.

Plan your travel off and onto the island carefully during the peak season, or you will find yourself sitting near or on San Carlos Bridge for an hour or more.

Our property is located in this highly desirable North End, and less htan a quarter mile from the base of the bridge. So once you get off the bridge and take a right onto Estero Blvd, you are all but there.

LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION.

A 7-11 (open 24/7) is next door, and beach access is just across the street. You can "almost" see the pier from the lanai. Once you get parked in front of our rental, you may never have to drive your vehicle again until you leave. You have everything you need in walking distance.

Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) is 20 miles away (35 minutes) and Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) is 46 miles away (55 minutes). Allegient Airlines flies nonstop to Punta Gorda from many locations around the country. It's an easy airport to get in and out of, and the rates are CHEAP - CHEAP -CHEAP. It's worth checking into Allegient. Even though the drive is a bit longer to the beach, traveling non-stop typically will give you an additional half day at the beach.
