About Beth Chapman
We love to buy rentals and furnish them with fun and comfortable furnishings. We spend extra money on the beds as we want everyone to have an awesome nights sleep. We enjoy traveling and always use VRBO or similar sights to book our vacations. We have been married 42 years and enjoy working and playing together.
Beth Chapman purchased this House in 2015
Why Beth Chapman chose Rocheport
We someday want to retire in the quaint town of Rocheport. We live close by and decided to take the plunge and buy this property as an investment until we can live there ourselves. It is a very friendly, quiet small town with a few shops, galleries and restaurants. We love biking and walking (sometimes running) on the Katy Trail.
What makes this House unique
We love this property for the 1930 cottage feel. The previous owners built it like a 1930 throwback cottage so it fits perfectly in the town of Rocheport. The beautiful thing is it is only 7 years old so has all the new design; is open floor plan, nice fully stocked kitchen, hickory floors, transoms above all the interior doors. Large laundry room with washer & dryer.

Great place to stay!
This home is lovely, and was much more than we expected. Lots of nice extras like the gas fireplace and loaner bikes.
We will absolutely choose this home as our first option next time we visit Rocheport!
Thank you for staying here! We loved hosting you all. And thanks for your kind comments. Beth & Ron
Lovely cottage in great location
Beth provided everything a person could need plus! Bedrooms were lovely except I was expecting 3 bedrooms not 2 with a pull -out couch in the third. The screened porch was great! I thought service fee& cleanup fee was a little high but it would not keep me from staying there again
Our family enjoyed the lovely house. It is very beautiful inside. It has a great decor and open floor plan to enjoy company.
Perfect base for the Katy Trail and a beautiful place to spend non-trail time
This is a lovely, well-appointed and beautifully decorated cottage in a very well-maintained almost quaint little trail town. The photos do not do the cottage justice and we all said we wouldn't mind living in Rocheport it was so nice. Good restaurants to choose from, both for lunch & dinner (except on Mondays) and Boonville and Columbia are close enough to provide a wider array of options. The cottage was our (4/5 adults) base for riding sections of the Katy Trail and it proved to be just perfect. It's only a couple of short blocks from the trail itself. Can't say enough good things about our experience and the people we met. Thank you very much to the Chapmans, the owners, who were great to deal with and very helpful.
Relaxing Home in a Quiet Community
This home was perfectly situated for our genealogical trip to local cemeteries in Boone and Jefferson counties. The little town (pop. 239) of Rocheport was very hospitable and the food choices at the local restaurants were up-to-date and excellent for our Californian and Nebraskan palates.
This home is recommended for relaxation in a quiet community. It is a great place to walk with friendly neighbors and nearby shops and restaurants. The home is comfortable and clean. The screen porch is a nice place for morning coffee and the front porch swing is comfortable for evening relaxation with a fan to circulate the air.
Cute, quaint with all necessary ameneties
We had a great time. This little cottage had plenty of room and was very pleasant to stay in.
