New Property will cared for.
What makes this House unique
Great Downtown Indianapolis Location.
Overpriced for what you get. The neighborhood is a little scary. For instance, the house next door is boarded up. The kitchen was extremely sparce. The house is basically bedrooms and TVs. But they did accommodate me nicely by sending me the hair dryer that I left at the house so that was very nice.
Good 5 Night Stay in Indy
We read previous reviews which were pretty much spot on. The house works well for 5 people. Not much in walking distance, but we just used Uber. We would stay here again.
new place clean
good location, clean in a neighborhood that is going through extensive remodel would be four stars but had a service man cable/internet that was in the house for 2+ hours and he invited 2 of his co workers to help.
waiting for and helping the cable guy is not my cup of tea when on vacation......
New, clean place with plenty of room a short drive from downtown
All of us had a great time in Indianapolis and enjoyed being able to stay in a new, clean place with plenty of room a short drive from downtown Indianapolis. Check-in/check-out were a breeze and Scott was helpful and responsive.
Very clean and well-cared for with lots of space.
Near needed stores and short drive to town and Lucas stadium. The house was great for our large group. We enjoyed our stay.
Nice big house, close to downtown, not so clean sheets.
Big house, lots of bedrooms, and then the pullout in the living room fit our group of 12 well. We were glad it had 3 baths. The neighborhood doesn't seem like the best but we didn't encounter any problems at all and the house was secure. The only hangup (quite frustrating) was that after checking in and pulling the sheets back there were small and large hairs everywhere on the sheets!!! After further investigation, this was the case on 3 of 4 beds. GROSS! The owner swore they were cleaned and replaced before we checked in and brought 1 clean pair of sheets over but just said, "If the cleaning service says they cleaned them then I don't know what else to do." We ended up washing the other 2 pairs and having to buy laundry detergent. We sent over several pictures of the different beds that were dirty, however, the owner did not offer any sort of discount for our quite spendy stay for 7 nights w/12 guests. If this was a hotel I would imagine the stay would've been comped or drastically discounted but I guess that's what you get for renting a house in the ghetto during a big conference in town. I hope the owner replaces his cleaning company and learns better customer service for future groups because the house has nice space, but no price is worthy of dirty sheets.
I have 5 VRBO houses in the area and have used the same cleaning service for the past 2 years for all of them. I received a call regarding 1 sheet set shortly after check in. I was out of town at the time but contacted my cleaning company and had them deliver another clean set of sheets and re-made the bed. I was not aware of their being a problem with any other sheet sets or would have made arrangements to have those replaced as well. I insist on clean properties and sheets and have never in the past 2 years had a problem with the cleaning service I use. They clean all 5 of my VRBO houses and my house in the same area as well. I can assure you this area of $300,000-$600,000 plus houses is nowhere close to the ghetto that is referred to in this review. This house is in a downtown urban setting and people not familiar with an urban setting may be surprised to find all sorts of different people in the neighborhood and walking around. The area is very safe and upscale and I have not had any problems with the 6 properties I own in the neighborhood in the past 8 years that I have lived here.
