One Bedroom, Barrier Free ( nothing to step over ) Bathroom In Old Town
About Jimmy Eriksson
Grew up in Minnesota, but just too cold most of the year. I moved here with my business in 1983 and love the sun. Scottsdale is a great place and the Cottage at the Adobe is a wonderful place to stay in Old Town very quite and secure.
Jimmy Eriksson purchased this Cottage in 1996
Why Jimmy Eriksson chose Downtown
The 6 building are made of Adobe mud 11 inches thick that were build in the late 1940's . They heat and cool easily. Total restoration on all 6 buildings over the last 18 years and now they are in excellent shape.
What makes this Cottage unique

100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
The Adobe Cottage was perfect for my stay, I just wish I could have stayed a little longer. The location was perfect; one block off Main St. which made it an easy walk to anyplace in Old Town Scottsdale. The apartment was very clean and had everything I needed and more. Jimmy was a great host and as a woman traveling alone I felt very safe. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Hi Annette, Thanks you for the very nice review. Hope to see you again. Jimmy
Charming and very comfortable cottage with lovely and peaceful garden
My daughter and I stayed in this wonderful and historically significant cottage, which is extremely conveniently located - less than a block from Main Street in Old Scottsdale. Jimmy, our host, was fabulous - attentive but not intrusive. The cottage itself is very well-appointed, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. Our host provided fresh fruit, full coffee and tea set-up, bottled water, as well as maps and great information and advice. Parking is immediately adjacent to the cottage. We felt very safe and secure. One of the absolute BEST features of the cottage is the garden, which is really stunning -obviously lovingly attended and featuring not only the gorgeous plantings but also a peaceful fountain and outdoor sitting/eating area. The cottage and garden were perfect for us and we hope to return. This place is truly is a GEM!!!
Thank you for the very nice review. We hope to see you again. Jimmy
Gorgeous Cottage in a Gorgeous Area
Jimmy's cottage was perfect for myself and my two friends. We used it as a homebase while we explored Scottsdale and went to some spring training games.
The garden was absolutely beautiful and the location was quiet and convenient walking distance to literally 100s of bars and restaurants.
My only suggestion would be to add a couch to the living room, and possible a grill to the common area.
Overall we had an incredible time and would definitely recommend this cottage.
Thanks for the nice review. We had a couch in there for a while, but it made it very hard to walk as it took up too much room, so we had to get the smaller couch
Perfect for Our Needs
Convenient, well appointed cottage. Close to all of the attractions in Old Town Scottsdale. We love it!
Thank you for the nice review of the Cottage
A little jewel
If you enjoy staying in the middle of everything in Scottsdale, this is the place for you. Everything is walkable and just enjoying the weather in the garden like setting of this cottage is fantastic. Jimmy the host is the extra plus, with his attention to detail he has added everything that you may possibly need to make your visit enjoyable. A true gentleman.......
Thank you for the wonderful review, we enjoyed having you stay with us at the cottage. Hope to see you again,
Great location and very comfortable living space
We enjoyed our stay very much. The owner is very accommodating and made our stay special. We were right downtown Scottsdale and felt very safe. The ability to walk to everything in Scottsdale was fun. The living space was very clean and had all of the necessities and more. Upon arrival we enjoyed some fresh fruit left as a welcome by the owner.
All in all a great trip.
Thanks Leo for the great review. We were happy you picked the cottage in Old Town for your stay in Scottsdale. We hope to see you again.
