Fantastic location in beautiful Deer Valley

We enjoyed a family trip here and loved the fantastic location - a quick walk to Snow Park Lodge and the St. Regis. There were 5 of us and we had more than enough room. After skiing it was so relaxing sitting in the hot tub enjoyed the views of the slopes. This place could definitely use some maintenance and upgrades. Many of electrical outlets didn't work and the stovetop burners were loose and uneven making it difficult to put a pot on for fear it would fall over. We lost a bit of food in the fridge because items were freezing which was disappointing. Some of the furniture is falling apart and chest of drawers were difficult to open. The hot tub maintenance person showed up one day which was a surprise as we had no heads up that he was coming. I do think it is a great place but would hesitate to book this place again unless some attention was given to the items mentioned above.

Location Location Location

The location is perfect you can leave your ski gear for free each day at the Snow Lodge and it’s an easy 5min walk to the rental unit. Great for 2 families with kids and 2 adult couples. Private hot tub on balcony over looking Olympic runs at Deer Valley a bonus!

Very rundown condo

The property is in an excellent location, just a 5 minute walk to the Deer Valley base. The property itself is extremely rundown. The management company tried to be responsive, but there is nothing that can be done about the condition of the property. Floors were pulling up, carpeting stained and taped down with duct tape. The oven was from the 1980’s and barely worked. The toaster didn’t work. The cable TV didn’t work. The TV’s were 30+ years old. The property was not cleaned prior to our arrival: there were stacks of linens and other debris on the floors of the closets in the bedrooms; the porch had a stray wire sitting by the hot tub, there was a banana peel left in the freezer: the oven was not cleaned; the gas fireplace worked sporadically. Lights were out and light switches were missing knobs. This unit should not be rented.

Great location, good space, needs a lot of updating

Amazing location, great communication, plenty of space. But the unit hasn't been updated likely since it was built and it looks and feels old. Appliances, fixtures, etc. When we arrived there was no hot water or working fireplace (all pilot lights were out) so spent time getting that stuff fixed. A faucet handle came off in our hand (rusted screw), and the carpet near the kitchen has stains which don't look great. The TV's were OLD (from the 90s i'd say) and the remote was missing for the cable in the main TV so we couldn't watch the games were were hoping to one night. Overall it was fine and skiing at Deer Valley is amazing, but this unit didn't hit the mark and we wouldn't stay there again unless it has major updates/upgrades.

Adequate and functional

Comfortably spacious but desperately in need of updating. The positives: location, size, very comfortable beds, and clean linens. Out dated and should be improved: the appliances, televisions (especially in living room), environmental controls, most furnishings, cookware, and bathrooms. With its location and size, this could be a spectacular Deer Valley condo - unfortunately - it would need substantial renovations to reach that standard.
