About Susan Eggerton
I am actually the property manager. The owner lives upstairs and is a real sweetheart! She has a fabulous collection of crime fiction for your reading pleasure. She is a Master Gardener so the yard is fabulous!
Why Susan Eggerton chose Claxton Community
The owner came to Asheville from New York city and has relished every moment of her time here. And who wouldn't? Its a lovely city, just the right size and fill of pleasures of all kinds!
What makes this Apartment unique
This apartment is all about location, location, location! But besides that it is well appointed and comfortable. The newly redone walk-in tile shower compliments the vintage character of the house. And we are close to make sure you are comfortable and that you have what you need.

Thank you Susan for a wonderful stay and your quick response to the questions and inquiries I had prior and during my stay! Location could not have been better! Walking distance to downtown, grocery stores a skip hop & a jump away, across the street an excellent Vegan Restaurant "Plant"! Convenient .3m walk to Yoga Teacher Training at Asheville Yoga and the apartment was roomy, comfortable and had all the necessities while there. Thank you for the coffee & the organic cleaning products! Also, enjoyed the back patio with serene waterfall :) Will def. be back in the warmer months and with some more time on my hands to explore the beauties of Asheville.
The property could use some upgrades to make it more appealing inside and outside.
We are 1 block from Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Harris Teeter so we've got plenty groceries! Downtown is walkable... breweries, restaurants, museums, art galleries, theaters... too much fun to be had!
