Beautiful luxury home walking distance from all the best shops and restaurants.
We have stayed in Jetsetter multiple times now, and cannot recommend this lovely abode enough. Christian is an absolute gem. This house is not only
nestled in one of the most popular areas of New Orleans, it is fully equipped with all of your needs. Experience the life of a New Orleanian, skip the hotel and stay in a gorgeous fully renovated home
in the Garden District.
Amazing! His property is extremely attractive, artsy, roomy, great location, secure - hard to leave!
Christian's place is very well furnished, clean, comfortable, modern appliances, fantastic location, secure, private and neat. We will be back, and very helpful as a host who justifiably takes pride in providing high quality housing to his guests. We were able to do our work and took advantage of the fast WiFi and spaceous layout. Absolutely great place and will recommend Christian and his properties to others.
A Gem Of A Property!!
What a beautiful property! My family and I wanted space while staying in New Orleans and this home definitely delivered. It is beautiful, historic, and very well appointed. I loved that the house has a history with all of the modern luxuries. The property was built in the 1800's so, yes, it does have old wood floors but that comes along with soaring ceilings, original pulley system windows, and charm galore...truly an authentic New Orleans experience in the Garden District!
Too many rules!
The property is beautifully renovated however the stairs were definitely an issue because of how steep they are. And the floors are rotten in several places so it feels like you may break through. This is one reason the manager demands that you wear slippers at ALL TIMES. The floors are painted a glossy black and they show up the smallest scuffs. The manager was not upfront about how serious the issue is with the floors. We paid a premium to rent this house but it felt like we were breaking rules every time we turned around. Because if you don't park far enough to the right or left, you will get a call saying you are breaking rules. And the shower up stairs is nice but you need an instructions manual to figure it out. Definitely ask for directions! We had a few smoke detectors chirping and they came out and replaced the batteries. The house manager is not a good communicator and an even worse problem solver. They must have so many problems in this area of town because he was jaded. Christian lacks in recognizing the difference between people that are taking care of the place and the drunken Mardi Gras crowd. He should find a fast a food place to manage. I would look around for other options, unless you want to be bothered by the hall monitor during your stay.
I have been coming to New Orleans for many years and have always stayed in nice hotels – – but once you stay at this property, no place else will do! The decor is gorgeous; all the finishes are beautiful; and there's lots of good art on the walls. Of course ultimately, the most important question is can you get a good night's sleep? Oh, yes yes yes! I am totally the Princess and the Pea when it comes to getting a good night's sleep but absolutely no problem here. The mattresses are excellent memory foam; the condo is quiet; and there are darkening drapes that are up to the job. This is an excellent location geographically, just off Magazine Street. My favorite restaurants are in this area and the shops are wonderful. To top it all off, Christian is a gracious host. We really appreciated the goodies he left us! I can't wait to stay here again.
Perfect in every way
We stayed here for 5 nights, my husband, myself, my 22 year old daughter and my 13 year old daughter. I booked the reservation so they didn't really know what to expect. We were all completely WOWED when we walked in. The pictures, as beautiful as they are, do not do justice to the comfortable luxury of this home. The location was perfect for access to Magazine Street shops and restaurants, wandering the Garden District to see the other spectacular homes in the area, and access to public transportation. We had rented a car so we did not use the public transportation but it was all very close. We arrived very late so Christian, the owner, was not able to meet us upon our arrival but we were met with a rack of fresh, perfectly ripened bananas, a six pack of Strawberry Beer in the fridge, a can of delicious coffee with a container of half and half to go with it, and some of the most beautiful and delicious cupcakes we'd ever eaten. They were so rich that we cut them into 4 pieces and could only eat 2 at a time (between the four of us). Such a lovely and unexpected welcoming gift. The floors are painted a shiny, gorgeous black so we were provided with slippers to wear so as not to scratch the floors which was not a problem and totally understandable. The stairs might be difficult for someone with mobility issues but even they were gorgeous! The washer and dryer came in handy, as well. We did not prepare any meals there but it would have been easy to do so, the kitchen is fully equipped. Christian met with us the morning after our arrival and provided some additional helpful information about restaurants in the area that were great. He is a very gracious, welcoming man, as well as being an extremely talented decorator. The attention to detail, even in the lighting,, was astonishing. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the furnishings and rugs were soft, there is not one negative thing we can say about it. Thank you Christian for providing the perfect everything for our first visit to your fabulous city!!!
