Tyra Summit A1E is a mountain escape for the whole family. This ground level condo has a warm, rustic feel and has recently been remodeled, including new carpet. The kitchen, with black granite counters, knotty alder cabinets and tiled floor, is well stocked with all the essentials for cooking delicious meals. The living area has a cozy gas fireplace, 42" flat screen TV and games/puzzles for your family to enjoy. And there are 2 dining tables for meals, games or use as a computer desk.
The first bedroom has a beautiful twin over full log bunk bed as well as a twin/single. The master bedroom has a queen bed and both bedrooms have flat screen TVs and all new mattresses. The living area offers a pull out couch to accommodate sleeping 2 more guests.
The back deck overlooks 4 O'Clock ski run and you can literally take a few steps off the deck and strap on your skis or snowboard. And best of all, it is an absolute treat to ski back to the condo for a warm, midday lunch break!
After your day on the slopes or hiking, Tyra offers a clubhouse with an indoor pool, 2 hot tubs and a grill. The complex also has underground parking.
Not only a great location for skiing, in Summer the property is right by the Sawmill Creek Trail, a great family hike up to a lovely pond, with fishing as well. You can start hiking, or mountain biking from the deck of this condo. Mountain bike up the Four O'Clock Trail in the summer or ride a "comfort" bike on the 9 mile paved path alongside the Blue River. Walk 4 blocks to downtown Breckenridge's many restaurants and shops. Enjoy the 4th of July parade, river rafting on the mellow Blue River, the National Repertory Orchestra concerts (late June to mid August), and the Pro Challenge Bike Race. You can also enjoy a free gondola ride up to Breckenridge's Fun Park on Peak 8, featuring an alpine slide, two person roller coaster, miniature golf, climbing wall, fun maze and pony rides for kids. Horse and pony rides up the mountain are also available at the Breckenridge Stables on Peak 9.
The 4 O'Clock ski run is just outside the deck of this condo and you can ski down to the Snowflake chairlift. Relax in the hot tubs or heated pool in the clubhouse of this complex at the end of the ski day. Enjoy Breckenridge's annual Snow Sculpture contest the last week of January. Next to the Snow Sculptures is the Ice Castle, which stays open til late March. Ride through the streets of Breckenridge in a mountain sleigh, drawn by a team of Belgian or Percheron draft horses. Enjoy April's month long festival of concerts and activities in Breckenridge.
