Since 2007, we have enjoyed hosting guests at our St. Paul Twin Arches Originally, we were inspired to host guests here is Saint Paul after our numerous trips back home to California and the wonderful places we stayed. It is a delight to get to know everyone visiting. Be prepared for a pleasant experience!
Amber purchased this Condo in 2007
Why Amber chose Union Park
Our location is central to everything in the Twin Cities and we love being near the many colleges/universities. My favorite architectural feature is the built in woodwork, hence, the name Twin Arches. Come experience St. Paul gathering under the built-in arch. Take a step back in history! Preserving the old and providing the new.
What makes this Condo unique
Gather your friends and family together! Walking to everything, easy bus access and immediate access to some of the best bicycling in the Twin Cities.

Comfortable Place with HIghly Responsive Owner
We stayed here for the Macalester college graduation weekend. Every room was clean and comfortable. There was every bit of furniture we needed, along with extra chairs for a large family dinner. A variety of toys and games were in closets to amuse the youngest among us. When the city of St. Paul scheduled a water shut-off(!) for our final day (on a mere 18 hours notice), the owners provided us with plenty of pots and jugs so we could get through our final morning there. They also managed to get the city to delay the shut-off, so in the end the jugs weren't needed.
Other things ... the kitchen is new. There's a bean grinder, and we were provided with whole beans! Every time the landlord dropped something off for us (ie, an airbed for an unexpected additional guest) the garbage that we'd bagged and set at the back door disappeared. The apartment itself is charming. Parking on-street was easy. I'll try to stay there again the next time I'm in the neighborhood.
A very nice and comfortable place to stay!
Amber, the hostess was always very responsive and helpful for anything I needed. It has a well equipped kitchen with new cabinets and appliances. I appreciate that the ice maker works so well too. The beds are comfortable and have good light to read by. The bathroom has excellent lighting. The shower works well and it’s easy to get the right temperature. There is ample parking on the street in front of the house which is located in a quiet neighborhood. Grand Avenue with many shops and restaurants is in walking distance. There are also lots of toys, games and books for kids. My grandchildren enjoyed visiting me here. It’s a charming old home with good sized rooms and many windows. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
Wonderful apartment near Macalester College
The apartment (1st floor of a duplex in a very pleasant residential neighborhood) was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and spacious. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was clean, big, nicely appointed and the shower pressure was good. Amber, the owner, was very accommodating and let us stay until our flight later in the evening. It made a big difference. The apartment was so cozy, it felt like home. We would love to return and stay at the Twin Arches again!
The best hosts ever -- considerate and friendly! We will be back.
comfortable and quiet
This home was very comfortable, charming, and immaculate. It was very suitable for children (nothing breakable within their reach) and has great toys. There were more than enough dishes, pots and pans, etc. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet and close to restaurants and grocery stores. Perfect!
Comfortable and Fully Stocked
We had a very nice stay in the lower half of this duplex. It's on a very quiet street and is close to restaurants and stores. We really appreciated the toys and highchair and other kid stuff that was made available for our toddler, and the owner was very communicative and checked to make sure there wasn't too much noise from the other apartment. There were also probably more dishes and kitchen stuff and linens than I have at home. Thanks again.
