Oceanfront; Clean; Perfect Kihei Vacation Condo!
Unit: Village by the Sea 610 | Maui Guidebook
Complex hallway and exterior construction will take place over a 2 year period from 9/17-9/19 however all units and pool will be open.
A nice, clean oceanfront unit. Unit 610 is on the penthouse floor, and the ocean and sunset views from the living room and bedroom are spectacular. A really great value for the location, quality and price – in fact this unit is our 2014 top pick for a 1BR beachfront in Kihei – you simply won’t find a better value on the beach.
The floorplan layout of Village By The Sea rooms are not long rectangles like most Kihei condos – much, much better in terms of feeling like you’re in a home and not a box. You’re oceanfront on a sand beach also.
Owners live in the building, and are friendly and knowledgable. More importantly, they’re on top of maintaining the condo, and it really has a feel of home-away-from home.
One reason the price stays in line is that the location isn’t sitting inside one of the posh resort areas in Wailea – but folks who’ve been to Maui know that actually matters very little because Maui is very small. You can be at any part of South Maui from here within minutes. All beaches in Maui are public, so in ten minutes you can be sitting at the same beach Paris Hilton lounges on (that would be Wailea Beach, by the way) but without the “on Wailea Beach” price tag.
Village By The Sea sits beachfront on Waipu’ilani Beach, a long sand and coral beach protected by reef. Another local beach a short walk is Kalepolepo Beach Park, home to culturally significant and the most accessible ancient Hawaiian fishpond in Maui. Both are great beaches of convenience for when you want to escape touristy crowds, have dinner or drinks while you watch the sunset, or strike up a down-to-earth conversation with a local family.
Rates are based on 2 guests. There is an additional $25 charge for the third guest, and for a couple there will be a $30 charge.

The property is beautiful. Place under construction. Nice views from condo. Able to easily use laundry facilities. Great central location in Maui.
We have stayed in many condos on Maui and this was by far the most comfortable Most codos have the uncomfortable rattan couch Tnis one has a plush couch with a footstool pullout
Bed was confortable as well
The older style tv’s in the ad pictures have been replaced with very nice flat screen HD tv’s
The owners live on premisis and are very kind and accomodating
Oh and then there is the view! Amazing! From living room and bedroom!
This condo was very accurately described. Thank you for being honest about the maintenance to the outside of the building. We had no issues with noise but when we walked up the outside of the building didn't look great. The inside however more than made up for it. Great location near many things.
Our amazing stay in Maui!
The photos are very accurate. The space is beautiful and a very convenient location. We would gladly stay here again.
Perfect vacation condo!
I went to Maui for a wedding for friends of mine who moved to Kihei last year, and I can see why they chose this location! I loved the area and all the beaches. The condo came equipped with all the beach necessities (chairs, towels, cooler, etc) that my friends who stayed in resorts did not have. The condo itself was very clean and had everything you would need. The view was excellent, and we were able to see the sun set behind he mountain in the distance. We loved being able to walk across the yard directly onto the beach for a morning walk or to watch the sunset. I would recommend staying here, and would stay again in a heartbeat!
Property was clean and well equipped. View was outstanding.
Location One reason the price stays in line is that the location isn’t sitting inside one of the posh resort areas in Wailea – but folks who’ve been to Maui know that actually matters very little because Maui is very small. You can be at any part of South Maui from here within minutes. All beaches in Maui are public, so in ten minutes you can be sitting at the same beach Paris Hilton lounges on (that would be Wailea Beach, by the way) but without the on Wailea Beach” price tag. The Beach The beach is what I like to call a “beach of convenience.” In our spoiled Maui island view, anything but a “10″ is considered such. There are plenty of world class beaches within a couple minutes – and the beach here is long, sandy and perfectly tailored for a stroll or sunset picnic. It is also a perfect place to watch the whales in season – in fact the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary learning center and culturally significant/most accessible ancient Hawaiian fishpond (Kalepolepo Beach Park) are immediately adjacent to your beach. These are all great beaches to escape touristy crowds, have dinner or drinks while you witch the sunset, or strike up a down-to-earth conversation with a local family.
